I saw 4-6 in the theaters, watched them many times over again through the years. I saw 1 in the theater once. Have not watched it again. Have not seen 2. I've mostly lost interest in whatever happens next, but I'd bet money that 3 is going to suck donkey balls (or if it were a stock, I'd short it)
Troll me if you will, but there are lots of peeps out there who like(d) SW feel the same way.
Well, a bit OT, but on the CA topic: one of my former co-workers went to Toronto, ON for a ~two week consulting gig. Last I heard, he's been there over 8 years.
the article did state He believes that the work could point to a new and lucrative market future for lasers. "The food industry could be a huge market for lasers just like the semiconductor industry," Li said. "We've also been asked to cut meat and potato with a laser but we haven't done that yet."
So if this happens, we might see "a fine assortment of ginsu kitchen lasers (as seen on TV)."
Do you mean nice as in an altrustic gesture by Microsoft? or just nice for the user. Look as Microsoft's history. When has the company (As opposed to the B&M Gates Foundation) made any product decisions for purely altrustic means? When they gave away IE, would you call that an altrustic move? Their motive, like most for profit companies is to maximize profit and minimize loss. This appears to be a minimize loss action, perhaps either to staunch the flow of users to Linux, as prior posters have mentioned, or maybe simply to appease their customer base.
My mistake, I remembered that song from a radio interview with Weird Al quite some time ago. I heard that song on the interview and also heard Al mentioning a tribute to Frank Zappa, so I associated the two. After doing some digging, I realize I was wrong.
Weird Al's tribute to Frank Zappa is actually this song on his albumn Poodle Hat which Dweezil contributed to.
You are so caught up in your self righteous "if you don't have two good hads to play with, fuck you!"
Sheesh, what a bunch of bozos!
This is a disabled guy who wants to kick some pixel butt, and there are a good number more out there.
And have any of you thought about non-permanently disabled gamers? Like new fathers who want to bounce their infant on their knee (give mom a break), but get some gaming in at the same time.
Not to mention that he brings up fuel cells in the article/ad: "Long-term fuel cells that convert hydrogen and oxygen to electricity -- don't ask me how -- are a promising alternative." Notice that he neglects to go into any basic details on fuel cells. I found this link by doing a google search on fuel cells. It would have taken him very little effort to come up with a one or two sentence description. Damn lazy journalist.
What do you call someone who speaks three languages? A polyglot. What do you call someone who speaks two languages? A bilingual. What do you call someone who speaks one language? An American.
Then it would be like the cost of nuclear energy (cost > energy produced).
MeThinks you are confusing fusion power (which currently genereates less energy than it produces) with fission power, which is operated in power plants in many countries.
I've heard this before too. One can argue, why waste money selling something to someone someone who has already purchased your product, but I notice a lot of brand loyalty in the people I know, especially with major purchases such as automobiles.
Me, I like to see what financing deals are out there. When we are in the market for a new vehicle, my ears perk up when I hear very low or zero percent financing. Then I go online to see what the specifics are (if is a good 60 month or one of those lame 24 month deals)
Bleh, this is boring. Coffee flavoured flakes. sounds soft and soggy, like cornflakes 10 ms after the milk has seen it.
What we need is something gritty and tough like grapenuts. How about coffee nuggets? Just expresso roast coffee beans, pour em in a bowl and add 1/2 & 1/2. Crunchy, filling and will perk you right up if it doesn't give you a heart attack first.

But it will probably turn out to be a mirage.
Or maybe Luddite Industries will specially make wood computer components?

Thanks for asking.
Makes me think of Weird Al Yankovic's ode to Frank Zappa, Frank's 2000 inch TV

This article
states that 4 out of 5 new businesses fail is a myth. Take it for what its worth, another opinion.
