I've never heard anything bad about the hybrids, and they do indeed get good mileage. I've read in multiple car magazines that one of the challenges of the hybrid cars was to treat driving like a game on how good of mileage they could get. I'd probably recommend the new Toyota Prius for its increased room and its geeky look to go along with the geeky powertrain =)
I remember reading the book All the Rave on the rise and fall of Napster. Shawn Fanning's whole point of coding Napster, according to the book, is to get people sharing and promoting music freely, and the RIAA coming in to use the Napster network to promote their music and to use this new medium like they do the radio. It was basically Napster deep-sea fishing and capsizing because the RIAA didn't agree with their point of view. Now this company is starting to do something similar to Napster's original idea and hopefully the RIAA will ease up on their subpoena campaign, which is rather similar to someone punching random people in a dark room.
I saw this on the news a few days ago. According to the story, older amphibious cars could only 6 or 7mph on the water, but this one, as stated in the article, can reach 30. It's also a convertible to boot. =)
I'm sorry, but Ferdinand Piesch retired recently from Volkswagen AG. It was widely covered in just about every single car magazine. I know b/c I subscribe to a good portion of them =)
How can you be so sure about that one? The G5 currently is running 8 fans I believe in that tower. What makes you think that they will be able to drop this processor into a PowerBook and keep it cool?
He talked briefly about this story before a commercial break and asked this question: "If the polar ice caps melt, wouldn't that bring more cool water into the earth?"
Lockers! If people are theft targets at Hong Kong cybercafes, how about selling them a space to keep their valueables? Or...if they don't want their phones stolen, how about a nice pocket in your pants to place it...?
This is perfect for me. I'm thinking about switching to a Mac for college, and this is the perfect time. I can place my order now and have my new system in time for move-in day =)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there a settlement between Apple and the Beatles over the Apple logo (eerily similar to the Apple Records logo). One of the settlements out of that case was that Apple would never get into the music business. Could Apple be facing another lawsuit sometime soon?
Correction: Concert t-shirts are generally $20 at the mall, and in excess of $25-30 at the concert. CD's are generally $20 at the mall, and I think that if these CD's are going to sell the price has to be low.
The car rides on a new type of platform called the AUTOnomy platform. This was shown last year on the auto circuit. Why has it taken this long to find this one?
The block will premiere with single half-hour episodes airing Monday through Thursday at 1am EST, followed by a two-hour block of anime on Friday from 11pm to 2am EST.

Look familiar?

Maybe that's what the trojan's doing without them even knowing it! =)
If they were the Windows, they could be the first school in the nation to have a corporate-licensed logo for their mascot!

one of these perhaps?
We can't go down to Old Trafford because Big Brother is watching everything I do, comrades.

"Now, if they could only invent an anti-scratch coating for game rental discs..."
I haven't heard of one yet, but there's this...

...is not in St. Louis County. St. Louis is its own entity. St. Louis County consists of suburban St. Louis.

"...Man, your OS ain't got Shit!"
Demolition Man?
I'm going here. I'll take a free Mac! And I'll make the switch!
Groundskeeper Willy: "Ya cheese-eatin' surrender monkies!"
They have to send in Hans Blix and his team of "weapons inspectors" to make sure that the Moonies don't have any WMD's.

Why not every Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts location in L.A.?
