It is simple, don't use AOL. As if I had to say that here! But any service that you pay for should not have pop up advertisements, especially those that can directly charge your credit card on file, and any person that allows this is foolhearty.

  10. Interesting on Quirky Engineers Gone the Way of the Dinosaur? · · Score: 1

We had a discussion about this the other day at work. It was whether it was better to have the "quirky" brilliant engineer, as apposed to a conformed just qualified engineer. Well, the discussion soon turned into an all out arguement as our "quirky" engineer, defended his brethren, and our office manager spouted about how much of a pain in the ass they are. Shortly thereafter, there were slamming doors, and only the sounds of each of them mumbling something to themselves. Personally, I would rather have the "quirky" engineer in a pinch, but for an everyday living, I would rather have the conformed individual. I guess that is like having my cake and eating it too.

  18. Re:Why does everyone think on Afghanistan Is Like Nothing You've Ever Seen · · Score: 1

It is sad to see the number of people that would not stand up to fight for the freedoms that they have. I was having a conversation with my father about this today, whether I would fight or cower. I would like to believe I would fight. I told him that I am sure that if I did, I would be the guy that takes a bullet before my feet hit the ground, or I would be the guy that would be unknowingly be standing next to Mr Suicide Bomber graciously walked by. But even with those fears, I do believe that; their attack against us on Sept 11th was an attack on liberty; Men and women of previous years gave their lives to assure liberty for their children; and I as I am expecting a child soon, will do what I must to assure that my child/children will have liberty as well. Now everyone has been given the right to not have to fight, but that right is given to you by the idea that we are defending; FREEDOM.
