If a game forces you to spend hours doing tasks a bot CAN do, then it's crap. Yeah, Tetris sucks ass. As well all FPS's, RPG's, RTS's, and turn based strategy games.
I have to call B.S. on the article summary. The problem with PC's and gaming aren't because of these ridiculous high end graphics cards. Those are for the morons (like me) who like spend 3x the money to get a 20% boost increase. It has always been like this. I can't think of any games that require cards like these. If there are, the creators of that game are pretty dumb if they want it to sell. The real problem is the crappy Intel graphics cards that are put into many of the mainstream store-bought computers. The people who buy those computers will get screwed in terms of what games they can play. I think it's silly to say that the high-end graphics card is problem. That's like saying "Microsoft just released a new, more powerful, XBox-Super-Elite 360 for twice the cost, but it only adds 10% more detail to all your games. The original 360 is doomed!" No, stupid, you just keeping playing your games on your regular 360 and don't buy something you don't need.
Like how "CO2 causes man-made climate change", when, in fact, CO2, when the ocean...ya know...that 3/4 of the Earth's surface, spews CO2, it cools, not heats the surface air. Here is a "F=ma" type fact: The world has been significantly warming for the last 100 years. This is not disputed. There is a significant amount of evidence pointing towards humans as being a factor in this warming. Has it been proven? No, but that doesn't mean we spout off "Hoax!" and then ignore the possible problem and face the potential consequences. We should at least continue such studies to get a better idea how the world is responding to our actions.
Global Warming may not be a inconvenient truth, but it's obvious that it's inconvenient enough that people like you won't ever accept it as truth, regardless if it's proven or not.

the failure rate issue It's not a problem for potential buyers anymore, the new version's failure rate is significantly decreased. If the off chance it does fail, that's what warranties are for.

It's true you can adjust the sensitivity in most console FPS's like Halo, but it's still completely inferior. If were to bump my Halo3 sensitivity to 9 or 10, I would be able to turn *almost* as fast as I could with a mouse, but then precision aiming with long range weapons becomes impossible. You either have a sensitivity that works for shotgun/point-blank combat, or long range combat...or a sensitivity that is half-decent for both. If you get a mouse with a large mouse pad you can lower your sensitivity to get insane accuracy at long ranges while still being to pull an instant 180, if someone sneaks up on you.
I don't even smoke, and that is not the point. I fervently believe people should have the right to smoke. It is 100% a personal liberty issue. Except that smoking causes health problems and other issues for other people. Some people who work a certain establishments might not have the option of "moving their lazy asses." It's easy to tell them to find another job. But today, that's easier said then done.

Some people are simply not up to the job of being a programmer. They cut corners and ignore good design in order to get the project done real quick. Cutting corners and ignoring good design shows that the person isn't motivated, and nothing about their inherent abilities. Barring mental disabilities and deficiencies in mathematics, any person as the "ability" to become a decent programmer. Whether they have the motivation, patience, and willpower to sit down and learn the necessary skills is another question.

After all, there are many, many documents by the Red Cross from WW2 which could be considered "proof" that the Holocaust is all made up...just like Global Warming.. But you wouldn't bite on that, would you? I wouldn't bite on either the holocaust denial or GW denial. But I will bite on those off-topic, trollish remarks. There happens to be many, many, many MORE documents, which are proof (no quotes needed) that the holocaust did in fact happen. And scientists have measured the temperature of this planet, and it is, in fact, warming, and most of them agree that humans aren't helping the situation. There is some serious bias in the summary. It's implying that the XBox 360 currently has a defect rate in 1 and 3, but if you read the linked wikipedia entry, that number was stated for the initial defect rate of the original models. The newer consoles have a much lower defect rate.
That and trying to say that you couldn't access the content on a different 360, why don't you just come out and say it, you're an anti-ms trash talking troll.
I've gone through 4 or 5 joysticks as the result of the Descent series. If you wanted to be taken seriously in multiplayer you had to have a good joystick with a 8-direction hat and loads of buttons. It's such a shame that the 6-degrees-of-motion genre has essentially disappeared.
I still occasionally use my wireless logitech when playing BF2, but ever since they nerfed heli's I stopped playing the game.
