And yet, this is so easy to do with any device. It might be a hurdle for Grandma (a small hurdle btw), but the folks that Netflix should be concerned about are recording their content out the wazoo (and there's not a whole lot they can do to stop it either). Netflix == not very smart.
And me, wishing all emails were plain text. Can anyone do that for us all? (please)
The year 2096. Email, which has long been waiting an overhaul, has become simple again with Gagglezon's "Simply Mail" which uses plain text to communicate without all the waste.
You know, when you're at the grocery store gas station and it's taking "forever" to fill the tank.
What hybrid and gas vehicles need is... very very slow pumping gas stations. I mean, what if it took you an hour to fill up. Suddenly, electric charging makes a lot of sense.
So.. slow down the pumps. Create huge gas lines.
I remember how such things changed cars forever back in the early to mid-70s.
You don't want to "mandate", but at the same time you don't want to create a disease problem (especially one that could escalate).
I don't think the "homeschool" safety option is necessarily "safe".
We're probably going to have to mandate vaccinations and live with the small amount of "collateral damage" (autonomous vehicles will rack up more collateral damage that this).
For me, an "album" is a whole experience. The music (all of it), the artwork, the notes, pictures, etc.
With that said, while I do keep all of that, I usually ditch the case (unless it's special too). Keeping the paper art work and then I rip to my media server and I do use that the most for listening.
There's a ton of stuff that is NOT on streaming btw.
I think what is missing in all of this is the number of folks that are "stealing", that is, downloading content without securing any rights at all or payment, esp. to the content producers (mainly talking about the artists). This number is significant btw, proabably accounting for 80-90% of those who are "listening" and not using a streaming service (something to think about).
I think that long term this is going to happen. We've already seen a drastic reduction on coal as natural gas took over and wind has helped make that story even better. I'm looking forward to some great things happening in the state of Texas.
But, alas, as a coastal state with a lot of refinery operations, not sure that's going to change much.... there's just too much money there today (emphasis on today).
It's difficult to make any drives on I-45 without seeing many many fan blades in transit.
Solar? Well, I think that we'll see advancements there and the possibility of solar farms.... it's just more of a "land grab" than wind is. But who knows? If a power company sees enough profit, they'll pay the big bucks to get the land required. If Democrats take the White House next election, maybe they'll coerce the power companies so that they'll have no choice, either go solar (major) and earn less money or die completely (a precarious position given that even Democrats love electricity).
The goal is to provide free service to all the good people of Mexico. You just have to use the service while in California. Bonus: you get a USA driver's license, the ability to vote in our elections and lots of free benefits, possibly even free college.
Many are moving from the USA to Mexico just so they can take advantage of the great deal.
"Do you like the California plan?"
- Yes, especially the voting rights. My brother is a felon, but sentence is up early next year. This way he can move to Mexico and come into the country of [through?] California and regain his lost voting rights. It's the most American thing California has ever done.
One thing I like about spinning disks is that a lot of times the failure is gradual. Bad sectors and such and you have the opportunity to grab data off the drive (noting, you really should have backups).
With SSD, whatever the issue, it's more like losing a controller board on the drive, everything dies and ceases to operate.
So... I'll go along and say SSD is "better" and more "reliable", but when it dies, it dies hard. Just the way it is.
(not talking about performance degradation... speaking about failure)
The plan is to deploy a test AI system on the International Space Station. That system Heuristically programmed ALgorithm computer. They are current on the 8000 series, but the space station might not get one until the 9000 series comes out.
On the consumer side, they are currently testing an Entertainment Droid, version 208 in their country. Again, whether that model will ship to the US for examination, or the next version, we'll just have to wait and see.

Plan B was to just switch the 8 and the 9 and call it a typo.

Not disagreeing with Microsoft's completely new stance.
However, it does imply that basically everything they have said prior is an absolute lie.
Just saying.

Maybe it will create AI, since that hasn't happened yet.
We keep putting the WinPhone tech on amazon.cn and others, but nobody ever downloads it.

This is very true.
The all run Windows 1.0 because "it's cool".

A related study also found that people with freckles live longer and happier lives. Go science! Go science! Go science! Whoop! Whoop!

And they were cold, very cold. Much warmer now. Trees are happier now, just ask one.
Britain has promised to discontinue use of the Sun by 2025.
In response to the request to have all of our autonomous vehicles removed from public roadways:
1. A request has been made to have them all removed.
2. Except for Christine. We've lost contact with Christine. And we really don't know where this car is.
I think it's safe, in fact, I'm thinking of doing some trials using myself in the test.
Just need to put on a clean shirt.... ah, my lucky red one! That means it's going to work.
Some suggest that the only way to keep them out is to build a (fire)wall.
Microsoft says their OS is the best OS.
...whew, glad all of that is finally settled!
Amazon says their web shopping is the best.
Telsa says their cars are the best.
And Long John Silver's says their fish is the best.
It was chemtrails not space.
Science ftw!
