I saw a game in the store the other day called "Savage"
which says on the box that it supports Linux in addition
to Windows. I normally wouldn't have bought this kind of
game (online multiplayer RTS/FPS), but I did immediately
without even thinking because it included support for Linux.
(Sadly, in the French version, they forgot to include
the INSTALL.linux file mentioned in the manual... so I
ended up playing it on Windows. But the online servers
don't require subscription, so you can play for free and
there seem to be a few active servers in Europe at least.
Really fun to play, though I don't have any experience with
other online games so I couldn't make a comparison.)
The monitor link made mozilla freak out. Or my laptop,
at least. The fan kicked in, then would turn off when
I clicked in another tab. Also it ruined the browser
history.
It might sound elistist if you think that this man (Einstein) owed it to someone to spend his time helping them. Why should he care about motivating someone to do their own fucking homework?
People who are incapable of making things happen are usually the ones who claim these kinds of rights. It's absurd to say that a human has a natural right to look across a barren Mars. If he can force people off that spot then okay; otherwise, move out of the way or die.
I'd take a stereotypical rural American over a stereotypical Slashdotter. I come from a very rural area in the midwest, yet I have an advanced degree in physics and program at a UN organization. So I'd like to extend my middle finger to all you insecure, socially-challenged Slashdot weenies who have nothing better to do than snort at how people talk.
If you ever have an opportunity to go to CERN,
in the "Microcosm", which is where visitors take
a dorky science tour, there is a cool display which
has a wall of scintillators which flash when a
cosmic ray passes. It's neat to watch (and disturbing
to think about) the random streaks.
Note: Much of what I said is based on what is going on in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, etc. I would think that United Arab Emirates is very similar, but I could be wrong.
I think you would be wrong:

How do you think this would've come about?
Bush approached Rove (with others) willing to
humiliate himself and sacrifice his "power" as president?
Or did Rove and the rest of the security council suggest
it to Bush and then he agreed?
If we implement direct election, then you campaign in New York, Los Angeles, DC, Detroit and Chicago, and you're done; write your speeches.
The electoral college system exists to protect those states with smaller populations from being forgotten. But with the electoral college, as backwards as it may seem, we're campaigning (of all places), in Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, Florida,
I'd just like to ask rhetorically: Where is Detroit?
How many cities have Major League Baseball teams in Ohio?
In terms of population, how are the states of Ohio, Michigan, Florida, and DC ranked?
That kind of thing never happens to me in other apps, because years of experience have taught me to save often. But when saving entails copying the entire file and pasting it over the old one, then saving, you tend to procrastinate saving.
I imagine there's some clever way of getting around this, and I've given it some thought but haven't really come up with anything solid. Any ideas?
Why not make a backup copy of the original, then edit the
new one in place? Save it whenever you feel like it.
Maybe I'm not understanding the situation.

Glad you guys can help them at their spamming. Sheesh.
I happen to know that they do use Bricolage. See also http://www.theregister.co.uk/2003/05/30/the_regist er_signs_up/

We could move to the moon, instead.

Unless the source is available, who cares?

Yeah well IPv6 might be better than IPv4, but I don't see many people using it.

Am thinkink not, comrades.
Sounds like a 2600 magazine article.

(Answers: Michigan; 2; 7th, 8th, 4th, and 50th)

This was probably reported in 2600, so catching the criminals should be easy.
We need a WikiUSPTO.
Yes, I did find that odd.
