Great way to treat our "closest ally" in the region, who we're already very unpopular with. If someone put a tarriff on us, we would throw sanction after sanction on them (remember when Japan put a tarriff on us for cars I think in the 90s? And we put about a 100% tarriff on Japanese cars? Fair or not, we did it). Guess the Chinese and Taiwanese plants'll be doing better.

Of course, I don't think Microsoft cares what I say, and I don't think I'll get a rebuttal on their front page. Similarly, I think that most of the responses will be form letters. It may not even address the specific criticism, it will probably just end up being a source of free advertising - just post your sales pitch everywhere someone talks about you.

For years, UFO researchers had claimed that enlisted men and officers involved in the disc recovery operation were transferred to other bases to ensure their silence. Sure enough, the transfers took place. The paperwork explained why. Several months earlier, in a sweeping postwar military reorganization, Army fliers were systematically transferred to the newly created U.S. Air Force.

So the Air Force was all a big government conspiracy to hide the truth about the UFO's? And this "Air Force" must deal with all kinds of flying objects. Damn government cover-ups.

And, as George Washington University Law School Professor Orin Kerr has argued, it might even land a few record company executives in jail, absent Congressional immunity for such tactics, which (believe it or not) has been proposed."

I personally would love to see this happen, if they damage my computer, I want the bastards in jail. If somebody came into a music store and stole a bunch of cd's, they can't just break into their house and smash them - along with anything else they might believe is stolen, they'd have to notify the authorities. I'm not trying to defend copyright infringement here, but two wrongs do not make a right.
