    Useless in the same way that the Google Maps application I installed on my Blackberry is useless. Can't remember a name, number or address of a person or business, but know general things? "Pizza Moston MA". "Oil change 54935". "Nose job 90210". Then look at the results, and click on them to dial.

    Yup, totally useless. Doesn't save me money on 411 calls that might not work AT ALL.

    No, XSS != SQL injection. SQL injection is more relevant here, and to prevent it, you escape any data you didn't generate yourself before using it in any way with an SQL query. Even if that data came from the database.

    See www.php.net and look up mysql_real_escape_string() and pg_escape_string(). There are other functions for other purposes, but proper use of one of these two will save you lots of pain.

    Actually running a server on Fedora can be done responsibly. I run a small hosting company entirely on Fedora. If you keep it patched and properly configured, it's highly secure. It's also easy to upgrade when the new releases come out, especially if you read the Release Notes beforehand, using yum, though that's not officially supported for some reason.

    Discalimer: I am a Fedora maintainer.

    Absolutely. And what I keep reminding my GOP-inclined co-workers is that when they see these "enhanced" poweres bush is grabbing for himself, they should stop and think, "How will I feel when President Hillary Clinton has these powers?" before jumping to support them.

    Not necessarily endorsing Clinton (or not), I just use her as she's easily the Democratic candidate most feared by the right.

    Actually, he did have WMDs. During the Clinton Administration. Then he got rid of them. Then the US invaded. Sure sends a clear message. If you don't have WMDs, you're screwed. If you do have them (India, Pakistan, N. Korea, China) you're safe.
