yeah, i'd say it is a must have... it runs your OS3,4 apps a whole lot faster than a dragonball VZ 33Mhz can... It has hardware support for encoding/decoding Mp3 audio and MPEG4 video. The zire can't do that now can it? The 515 is nowhere near the tungsten and there won't be a port of OS5 to it...

If i try it and like it, i'll certainly buy it. What i do like is the CD-key method of doing things. Like Half-life for example. You wanna get a cracked cd-key and play locally? fine... wanna play TFC online? You need a valid CD-key meaning you have to buy it.
So anyway, it's hardly lost sales... I would have never bought the copy of photoshop I have or copies of games that i have without trying them first.
When i was younger I wasted a whole lot of money on shitty games (bureau 13 is fucking lame) because there was no way to try more than a crippled demo before i bought it. But now i download the warez version, if it works for me... then i'll buy it, otherwise then nothing lost for them. If i can't download it, i won't buy it.

It's not horribly bad, i've been with stream since dec. 2001, i've hacked it out, and was only a L1 agent on the phone for about 3 months.
Then was moved to an enterprise solution department dealing with network admins and such... that was damn fun. that lasted 3 months, i've been a Level 2 tech (don't deal with customers at all) since july of last year and make $13/hour. which in this bum town is a decent job. Don't slag on them too bad, you only sit around in this place if you're a fucktard.

The controllers use standard AA batteries.
If you're so gung ho for open, maybe you should consider the console that makes use of standard AA batteries.

The 360 can use any USB mass storage device for game installs, save games or media.
So the PS3 can take any garbage hard disk but cannot deal with AA batteries in it's controllers?
