  1. Re:Single Player? Rant. on Project Offset FPS Amazes · · Score: 0

    1) It is mentioned on the game's page, only one link deep, that this is a muliplayer game. No digging required.

    2) Multiplayer games sell more copies. No one is going to sue you for the fact that you like SP better. But what they will do is make MP games since MP games make better money. For every gaming dollar they lose because of a SP only player, they gain probably dozens from people who enjoy MP games.

Sorry that you are part of a minority, it will make your gaming life harder. But when it comes down to it, the majority of game companies don't give a rats ass that you like SP games, since they are going to make so much more money on the MP market.

So when do you think a fetus becomes a viable human being? Conception? When the blastocyst embeds itself in the endometrium? Maybe when it starts to develop a brain and spinal chord? Perhaps when its heart starts to beat? Maybe when it starts to beat regularly? When it is no longer called an embryo and is called a fetus? Birth? Maybe when it can walk? Perhaps feed itself and wipe its own ass? Kindergaten?

The reason I believe it is a viable human being from conception is simply the fact that you know it is going to be human, and there is no step in the development process that suggests it might be something else. No one ever carried a fetus to term and found out it was a koala bear, or a jeep.

Where the fuck were you? I remember well when ICO was released, and I remember just about every review said it was great! And if I recall correctly (and I do) not many people talked about its innovation, but rather its emotional appeal. The graphics, for the time, were amazing and clean, not cluttered like so many of its contemporaries. And blurriness? Did you even play Ico, or just watch the free streaming videos on Gamespot?

Everyone's pants are "exploding" because it was a truly great game that came in under a lot of radars because it didn't involve guns, or blood, or hoes.
