  1. Re:The difference with SETI@home on SETI to Upgrade Software, Telescope · · Score: 1

I can see the point, but ultimately it makes me feel better knowing Folding/Genome@Home are producing useful data right now and providing a wealth of information to scientists. These are published in scientific journals, I belive, thus the group need not make money from any discoveries made by outside scientists using the data Folding/Genome collected. Space research is important, but I feel should be second place to the above as just now SETI is really just stabbing blindly in the dark hoping to find something.

Just because you didnt like being in school and had only a few friends doesnt make it a bad establishment, it just didnt fit your social quirks, most kids dont like school for one reason or another. Just having a one track mind and wanting to look at programming manuals however is not a good all round learning system.

You have to agree to something all the time in life before you actually get the product/service/whatever...At least displaying the license to the user your forcing them to acknowledge it if nothing else.
Might be stupid example, but its like I put an agreement in your coat pocket without you knowing and then saying you must have agreed to it because its there.

Trance IS electronic music, just because you may not like it doesnt throw it out of the genre. While I like Drum & Bass also, the technical difficulty is far less, if you listen closely to tunes from each type, you can hear that -good- Trance has far more to it than -good- Drum & Bass.
