I've had the same Palm Pre from release day, never had any issues with it. No slider problems, screen issues etc etc. I've dropped it a couple times and I don't baby it.
All phones have bad batches, I was lucky and happened to get one that still looks and works perfectly well.
I resent your implication that all residents of Klah are insensitive - insensitivity belongs to those that reside in the dimension of Perv.

I have on my desk an iBook G3 800 in Ice - transparent plastic with white paint underneath. I personally think it looks far nicer than the snow white of the curent Mac laptops. And no, it's not scratched to hell even though I still use it heavily.
By the same token, maybe Utah should ban football, or televised sports containing any body contact. Violence in sports likely has the same impact as violence in games, then again my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt.
I an imagine what kind of uproar that would cause, "What do you mean we can't watch the superbowl?"
I got to Avatar didn't I?
Plus since most of northern Illinois broadband was blocked from Nightmare other muds just didn't have the same appeal. Now WoW has a lot of appeal to it, Lutra Constance, Fatality, Lambert, Zarek and a few others play with me on Perenolde.
I do miss the old days of Nightmare though, when we had 50+ players on...
Who cares?
Actually I have some very good friends who play Wow that are female - of course I've known them for years from playing a mud we all frequented, But neither I or my close friends have any problems with girl gamers, after all we're all here for the same reason - to have fun.
No, they're rich assholes:). I knew people who work there, and apparently management has their collective heads up their asses. Furthermore, the actively discriminate against non-naperville residents. Live out of district? They don't even mention the ability to purchase a subscription card(look on the DLS website for more info about out of district residents needing library services). Also they severely restrict what reciprocal borrowers can do, as being unable to check out most non-book materials, charging double fines for reciprocal borrowers, etc.
Of course my library treats everyone the same, resident or nonresident or reciprocal. About the only thing recips cannot do is place holds on materials from our system - they need to inter library loan them from their home library.
(And yes I'm venting - there are many people in Naperville who have an attitude of entitlement, they live in Naperville so they are better than everyone else.)
As I scan the list, I did notice several ip's that have been scanning and trying to break into my home system. I'm glad I don't have any services running that are exposed to the world.
Linux must not be as advanced as Windows, I couldn't see the flashy colors or hear the sounds? Why? In this day and age I should be subject to the same amazing experience as all Windows users! I don't even get pop-up ads:(
Speaking of icons not really used anymore, what ever happened to having quickies every once in a while? They were short, fun, had multiple stories, a real timesaver for the more obscure stories that might not otherwise have exposure.
I want my quickies back!
I know that libraries are a huge source of revenue for book publishers. I personally will try to recommend that the library I work for does not purchase any copies of the book or any future books by Tarbox. Perhaps a letter writing campaign from area libraries condemning the actions of the publisher and threatening to not buy books from the publisher because of its actions may be in order.

The harder you squeeze the more you piss _on_ the electorate.

Chris Tucker...*connect the dots* Loadstar! It was my absolute favorite disk magazine of all time, I wish I had managed to get all the issues.

I agree, firing Tom Cruise at pirates would be a VERY effective deterrant. :)

I'm not sure his wife is available.

And of course there is a LiveJournal community for that as well- livejournal.com/users/customers_suck/
I seem to remember that Professional Write 2.?? had a grammar checker, as well as a way to score the readability of a document.
Well they say size doesn't matter... Most women I've know prefer something slightly larger however
