  1. Back in 2001 or so I was told Taco Bell's ground beef was not meat, but a paste. I responded with: "Wow that's some good paste then I guess."

Years later I saw the lawsuit claiming their beef was 11% meat and I was surprised it had SO MUCH meat in it.

The worst crime is in areas with concentrated poverty, where the poor prey on the poor.

Back in college, I helped a friend of mine move in to a poor neighborhood. It was really worrisome to be there. Every house had bars on every window and door. Broken junk laying in yards and driveway. And also a group of ~20-30 guys just standing in the street watching us the whole time we moved him in.

I was going to say they need to make an IBM House.

You'd end up with suggestions like punching the patients in the face, or abusing the staff. Good times.

  4. >In some countries they require women to wear burkas so American Airlines is planning this for all their female stewardesses and pilots world-wide?

I don't think the women would be allowed to be pilots in those countries either.

  5. I genuinely want to know how Flat Earthers explain the lunar eclipse?

    For hilarity.

  8. I wonder what the sodium content of this is though? I've tried a few vegan fake meats before out of curiosity, and lot of them seem to be 30%+ of the daily value per serving.

I'd rather just eat natural stuff like nuts, avocado, mushrooms, beans, etc for protein and not bother with imitating meat (I'm not even a vegetarian, just try their stuff sometimes).

Also I'm confused.... the summary makes it sound like one of the three drivers quit? Maybe it's different per state, but I thought unemployment only came from when you were laid off or fired somehow. Not when you quit voluntarily.

Probably could've quoted a better section of the comment... but one of my favorite random out of nowhere political moments was an article about sharks dying in cold water, and the post said something like: "- likely due to global warming, which President Donald Trump refuses to admit exists."

Today he has a flip phone from about the same time period, and almost angrily refuses to change from it and insists he will never ever have a smart phone no matter what. States there is no reason to ever get that and why would he want that when he only wants a phone to be a phone.

    He became a grandpa fast.
