I have found myself on one of these projects, 3 years in (contractor) and not really close to being complete. At this point it's pretty much copypasta / tweak the code base for new features. But as you say it's good money and lots of work left.
And that's about 322 kelvin for the rest of the universe:P
Actually that is for planet earth only, it's wise to assume that unless we are the only intelligent life form in the universe our measurement units are specific to us alone.
I just tried to look up security certificate info for a site and have just discovered you can't any more. You used to be able to click on the padlock to access it!
Average Jane and Joe User don't care about a sites certificate and the trust chain. Nor do they care about the settings in it's place. I am surprised that Google even has those. I often feel that the only reason Google has not updated it's UI to a Fisher Price UI is because they still want cred in edgy category.
Actually the number of cloned parts you can buy in China that are direct copies of Apples own designs and given Apple's legendary control of their products it makes sense that they would now want to bring the manufacturing under tighter control by putting it in their backyard. Plus the $258 Billion in cash they are sitting on helps too...
You realize that Republican and Democrat does not mean anything in the USA anymore right? Lobbyists have owned both parties for awhile now so there is no more red vs. blue only the green party (and I don't mean environment).
But that means stripping humanity away from materialism and vanity. Not going to happen anytime soon unless we fall into another great depression and at that point everyone is screwed.
Not the store per se but UWP. I have developed a few apps for my company already. One is used on both desktop and some cheap windows tablets (inventory / shipping / receiving).
As for the Cloud Shell I wonder if it's just a version of Windows Server 2016 Nano running in the cloud.
This after reading hundreds of comments and concerns on the various forum topics about how most people were mad about having to update their websites and the "thousands" of links that point to these resources.
When Alphabet took over they removed that motto from their code of conduct in 2015 so they are free from "doing no evil" for 2 years now...

That what social media is about, isn't it?
I thought it was about ripping society apart by not being open to others ideas and opinions just ones in your own social circles...

Conversely, they'd be much more profitable if they didn't waste so much money on useless DRM and fighting piracy.

I agree lets just stop using all of this ridiculous markup language once and f

Or change their desktop background to something involving a sexy The Hoff image.
No wait....
Think of the adults...
I am so confused now...
It's not that Android spy's on you it's all the malware that does (not even from the carriers or Google).
