I just hope companies won't give in and become MS's biatch again. Since Linux and Open Source are getting big, I think they should jump ship and use them.
I'd go for a simpler desk, instead of one of these iSores. I just get the feeling that the long legged one would topple over (iDesk). Well, whatever floats your boat.
You don't have the right to do whatever you want with the waves that cross your property. A good example is mobile phone waves. It's illegal and wrong to snoop onto peoples' conversations based on the fact that their signals are crossing over your property.
Try formatting your searches...like adding review after whatever item you're searching for.
It's nice to see that various results pop up when you search for "apple," but wouldn't you be pissed if the only things that come up are topics about a fruit. Nobody takes their responsibility for the way they search.
I think there should be a list for game packages that are way over dramatized compared to the game. You know what i mean. Those game art packages with some fancy oil painting while the actual game characters consist of 64x64 pixel drawings.
Maybe the reason people are buying less is that everyone's broke and usually have things that they want or need. Most companies rely on people repeatedly buying objects and expect consumers to be enamored by that shiny new spec, regardless of its usefulness. Consumers aren't blinded right now considering how the economy is going.
necessity is the reason. When people have no room (have you seen the avg. apartment?) you gotta accommodate those limitations. That's why miniturization and electronics with various uses are so popular. Landlines are hard a little more expensive, so mobile phones are the perfect solutions. In the U.S., we have way more space than they do so we don't need to have those everything in one gadgets. The truth is Japan is ahead of the world when it comes to toys. In terms of important innovations, it's on par with most major countries.
First off, minors shouldn't play games where the objective is to realistically murder people. I think adults still have the right to play these games, not minors. Secondly, this will give the gaming industry the much needed impetus to actually come up with good games. I'm tired or FPU's and other lame games.
Get a digital camera with a good optical zoom. That way you don't have the write down everything or draw out any diagrams. Use a cheap voice recorder for the lecture and you're set. If you're prof doesn't allow photos, just hide your cam in a box with a hole and just say it's your bday gift.

for lazy parents. I want one of these, not that I'm a lazy parent, but I'm a crazy adult.
Does anyone know if that memory management problem has been fixed yet? SP1 really made my PC lag like a 18 yr old dog.

Reminds me of those Transformer bugs that ate metal.

$699 * 8000 = $5,592,000 Thanks a bunch SCO!
It's all about the calories right? The carbs vs. protein argument involves this. A cup of carbs has more calories vs. a cup of protein.

Wouldn't be easier to just rip a DVD from a DVD-ROM with some software (that's free too). There's less hassle IMHO.

Maybe they get better incentives to work harder over in Japan. Working harder in the US just lessens the possibility of getting laid off faster.
Atleast they're not burning all crops and only shredding the bad apples. I know, RIAA still sucks.
He demonstrated his product in the U.S., where jurisdiction is.
skylarov was screwed in the U.S., so it still doesn't apply.

That may be true, but when it comes down to evalutions and choosing who to lay off, working overtime while being unpaid is the thing to do.
Can you cite any scientific studies that proves there is no effect? The truth is that the effects cannot be easily or truthfully guaged.

yeah, making people think you're actually popular is quite revolutionary

Any chance that Ben Affleck and Bruice Willis were in the simulation either?
Let's see, racist = funny and anti-Linux = troll.
Giving up privacy for some sex, very nice.
