I see alot of people bashing the movie soley on this line.....I have the opposite feeling, by stating that up front you know EXACTLY what you are in for, which is a special effects romp with a thinner than air story line. It's like a two hour movie ride.
I think everyone needs to see a silly camp movie once in a while and stop being so damn critical...
How nice of them...trying to swallow another sector.
All of you that bought an XBOX, and didn't mod it.
For Shame...
Everyone go buy a Gamecube now, even if you have one, buy a spare.
Don't let M$ gain control of this market, speak with you wallet.
Zelda looks simply AMAZING... They are finally giving the people what they want.
Not to mention the DS which craps all over the PSP by Sony.
Good times, and the show doesn't even start till tomorrow....
Gentoo is the best Linux distro so far. I have been using since the redhat 5.2, Slack 4 days. The only thing that I think could improve is the install process, I have no issues with it myself but I know many other people do.
I imagine if they go after the high-end market we will see an installer then.
Centrino....I can't belive Intel get's away with marketing that crap.
Anyway, No AMD = No thanks. The notebooks at ibuypower.com are much better.
Anyway, why is slashdot such a advertisment pit as of late?!?!
I've noticed more and more windows users, have to install nearly 1/2 a dozen or so programs th protect thier pc's. Between Ad-aware, Spybot S&D, Norton/AVG/McAfee and a host of others, I ask... Why Bother?
It's the reason I went 100% linux at home, no worries about such crap.
I noticed from reading the Article that every manufacturer listed has a recycling program in Japan, but the U.S. we would just rather toss in a dump somewhere.
I just want to make a damn call from the thing, but the keypad is not very well designed for punching up a phone number. Cell phone keypads have become an ugly mess as of late. I don't need it to do anything but make calls, and have a phone book. I don't need a camera and I have a gameboy.
geeze.
No thanks, these game companies on thier last legs have been using the Cube as thier dumping ground, and making excuses and dropping support. So if they decide to be "PC" and "Xbox" only they aren't getting my money.
I was a beta tester in There. I love the concept but thier IE/Windows only decision is no good.
They run on Linux servers, would it kill them to give us a client?!?! I switched out of XP for good, so I guess ic an't play for now, even triedn in vmware and it complained.
SCO is the owner of the UNIX(R) Operating System Intellectual Property that dates all the way back to 1969, when the UNIX(R) System was created at Bell Laboratories. Through a series of mergers and acquisitions, SCO has acquired ownership of the copyrights and core technology associated with the UNIX(R) System. The SCO source division will continue to offer traditional UNIX(R) System licenses to preserve, protect, and enhance shareholder value.
As early as May 2003, SCO warned Linux(R) users that enterprise use of the Linux(R) operating system was in violation of its intellectual property rights in UNIX(R) technology. Certain copyrighted application binary interfaces ("ABI Code") have been copied verbatim from SCO's copyrighted UNIX(R) code base and contributed to Linux(R) for distribution under the General Public License ("GPL") without proper authorization and without copyright attribution. These facts support SCO's position that the use of the Linux(R) operating system in a commercial setting violates our rights under the United States Copyright Act, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
While some application programming interfaces ("API Code") have been made available over the years through POSIX and other open standards, the UNIX(R) ABI Code has only been made available under copyright restrictions. AT&T made these binary interfaces available in order to support application development to UNIX(R) operating systems and to assist UNIX(R) licensees in the development process. The UNIX(R) ABIs were never authorized for unrestricted use or distribution under the GPL in Linux(R). As the copyright holder, SCO has never granted such permission. Nevertheless, many of the ABIs contained in Linux(R), and improperly distributed under the GPL, are direct copies of our UNIX(R) copyrighted software code.
Microsoft doesn't belong in the gaming market, they need to get thier OS woes in order befre they try to pummel another market. This division is bleeding cash and no other company would have been able to stomp in like they have. I personally want xbox2 to fail. If gaming comes down to SONY and M$ as my only choices, I'm out.
Support Nintendo, or pay for it later with generic fps and miltiary strat out the arse.
There for things will never change, people will not switch. I show poeple how Mozilla is vastly better, and only handful are interested. The rest are content on putting up with IE and it's millions of issues, then bitch when thier machine is riddled with spyware. Boggles the mind I tell ya.
Anyone else see something wrong?!?!?!
"Fucking Brilliant"
Cousin to Gentoo I guess you would call it. Glad to see it's still chuggin along. I may just have to install it again one day.
Lol, good luck to them on that. it's all I've got right now, it's early afternoon and I'm burnt :)

Bloatware... C'mon with embedded systems doing more and more with less and less. Johnathan Livingston Seagull...

Noone saw this coming? The industry will never learn, greedy bastards. Too bad most commercial music sucks, so they don't get a dime from me.

How typical.
No wonder most of the world can't stand us.

Tempest 2000 (made the Jaguar useful)
Tempest 3000 (got a nuon dvd player just for it)
Not to mention, llamatron, Defender2k, attack of the mutant camels..the list goes on and on.
