Yes higher recharge speed is nice... but frankly, at this point, I'd rather see them release an actual product. I am still quite happy with my NiMH charger that takes about 14 hours to charge my camera batteries, because once charged they last for weeks of moderate use.
of course there are applications where fast recharging times are required, but consider how long they'be been talking about "mobile fuel cells coming soon", i'd like to see a product being released. its ok if it takes a day to charge, if i could run a cellphone for a month on it, for example. they can improve the recharging times later.
this was my experience: it would often crash while using some of the 'extra features', or else for no reason at all. if it doesn't crash, it sometimes manages to make things excruciatingly slow... either way it seriously affects the way i could make and receive calls.
well, the thing is that the iPod still manages to do _one thing well_, whereas in these cellphones, i'm starting to feel like they're becoming 'jack of all trades and master of none' devices
my SE phone, granted it was on an early firmware, had many problems that actually hindered the ability to use it as a _phone_. sure it had a camera, calendar, media player and whatnot, but if it does a bad job at everything, and subtract from the actual calling functionality, its not a good thing
"Kern = real good at math and science."
should have been:
"Kern == real good at math and science."....
but seriously... regardless of how good/bad the teaching at a particular university is, the main thing is that students need to learn how to work on their own. Many high school students with exceptional grades get really frustated in university, because they are no longer spoon fed anymore, and nor are the tests/exams merely asking you to regurgitate what you were force fed. As corny as it sounds, in university the most important thing you learn is how to learn, and a lot of it you have to do on your own.
in first year university, we had a new text book that had an online access package that came with it (http://www.masteringphysics.com/). The online material was integrated with the course (assignments, quizzes, etc).
the result was that you had to spend extra money buying the next text, OR you have to pay extra for the online package (bundle with the text is cheaper). not only that, after using it, the book is less appealing on the second hand market because buying a new one saves the extra cost of the online portion.
Hi, I'd just like to make sure - 500 a month on taxes alone? and you have to pay that for ever and evermore? Is that because of the particular area you're in?
a group of mathematicians and engineers are aboard a train going to a conference. each mathematician bought a ticket, but the group of engineers only had a SINGLE ticket. the mathematicians were snickering at what might happen to the engineers when the ticket inspector comes. sure enough, after a while the engineer lookout shouted: 'here he comes!'. Immediately, ALL the engineers squeezed into the washroom. When the ticket inspector knocked on the washroom door, a single ticket slid out the bottom of the door... now the mathematicians feel cheated.
For the return trip, the mathematicians decided to purchase a single ticket for the whole group, while this time, the engineers bought NO ticket at all! The mathematicians were wondering how they're going to get out of this one... suddenly, the engineer lookout shouted: 'he's coming!'. all the mathematicians rushed into the washroom. knock knock...
Actually, what we can do, is work on the source of the problem:If we reduced greenhouse emissions, then we wouldn't have the problem in the first place
I plugged the bios chip in the wrong way after removing it. When I turned on the system, the sticker on top started melting... Afterwards it was still working, but the motherboard died a few months later.

huge scam, or outsourcing?
but do they shiver to produce frictional heat? or is it internally generated?

seems like slashdot is helping fedex take out this guy's online operations... not surprisingly.
We can't have this... it'll make people wear adverts on them all the time... oh wait, they're doing that already.
-Hack your microwave: heats up food quicker, allows you to use metal containers
-Hack your toothbrush: reduces brushing time, whitens teeth 5 shades in 2 days and prolongs time between visist to the dentist
-Hack your hacks: increases efficency of hacks without loosing warranty.
etc etc
Well according to one of the previous posts, you don't need to wear anything at all?
The company obviously wasn't bright enough to handle /.
1st of all, its more like MD-RAM.
2ndly, they DID use it in the matrix :-)
excuse my ignorance and thanks for responding...
I'd just like to point out that the new PS2's do have progressive scan - Not that I'm getting one as a DVD player though...
Thats CLOSE ENOUGH

I don't know that much about L33t or whatever its called, but writing '|\|' instead of a 'N' is hardly a form of abbreviation...
what a bright idea! i see a glowing future for this concept...
if i, um, remember correctly :-P

Just like how you need a license for your pet fish, Eric.

oh well... it's /.
