However the way microsoft integrates online gaming (xbox live) is very well done, and personally i think is where gaming is going. Now they just need good games.
I think this is not correct. On-line gaming is HUGE for you hardcore gamers, but on and off gamers like me don't have the skill or time necessary to get a good online experience. What fun is it to enter an online session just to be killed 5 seconds after you entered? Not much...

I personally prefer to play games with friends in real life. We all have about the same skill level and we can drink and interact in ways you can't online. Ofcourse, if you are a hardcore gamer, you probably don't have too many real life friends since you spend most of your free time online playing games.

Until I can enter online games and only play with people on or about the same skill level as I have, online gaming to me is worthless and just a HUGE waste of money.

If I could go online with my friends and then have a session with only us in it, that would be interesting.

I wanted to pick up an XBOX 360 just to see what the hype is alll about, but i have no interest in buying on Ebay and so far i haven't found a place where I can go and pick up one, so I'm going to drop XBOX 360 alltogether, no matter how good it is due to the fact it's nearly impossible to go to a store and buy one. Horrible, horrible marketing MS, SONY - are you listening? I'll pick up a PS3 with games and stuff as soon as it is available for pickup in stores.

It has nothing to do with jesus and his deeds, it has to do with beeing judgemental, prejudiced, cruel, barbaric, negligent, greedy, cheating, stealing and lying though your teeths. That is the average fair from Christians today. I haven't seen a christian in a long time that even follow jesus teachings. And I can assure you that those who do, have nothing to do with GOP.

What different people spend money on has nothing to do with bragging, but with what interests you have. How much have you in your short life spent of money on crap and on computers? My interest is in multimedia and that leads to aquiring equipment that is quality and quality costs. It also cost money to build a media room so that the building construction is not ruining the experience. Plus a decent surround sound system which actually can enhance your experience is expensive. I'm not talking about your average hone theater system found at best buy.

Adding a BD player to that is no a big deal, but something I will do once it's available for shipping. Why? Simply because it's my main interest, just as computers is yours and that is where your money goes. I prefer multimedia on a grander scale than on a PC, so I go for the real deal.

Most european countries with a WWII occupation history (my dad was a freedom figther and several of my family died in KZ camps, one of my relatives were the local Gestapo boss and was extremly hated for his cruelty. This is not Holland btw) made a promise that this would not be repeated and hence outlawed nazism. I fully support it and i also support restrictions in free speech since all countries have restrictions, even USA have severe restrictions on free speech (yes, i have lived here for about 10 years).

Stop bragging about USA and free speech, it's not more free than most other countries, it's just that you, the average American, believe otherwise because you have been told so all the time and that doesn't necessarily make it true.

I would like to point you towards the Forbes 500 richest list. I think you will see several Waltons with billion dollar fortunes. So, the money DOES NOT go back to the people. If you add up all the cost of all the extra insurance and pension funds that you need here in the US, I think you'll find that the difference is marginal if any at all. Lower taxes and cheaper prices does not necessarily mean cheaper totally. Think of it as Total Cost of Ownership like we do in IT and you'll see that you probably pay more in USA than in Canada.
