(even forgiving that it doesn't do multi-touch like iPod/iPhone).

The Moto Droid does have multi-touch, just developers are not utilizing it yet. Two apps that come to mind that DO utilize it are "PicSay" and "Simply Draw (Multi-Touch)", both of which are free on the android marketplace.

My Fiancee and I both play Warcraft and she spends about twice as much time on it as I do. She has even been known to be "sick" and call into work to play. I have asked her several times about her playing time and she drastically understates how much she plays. I am not sure if she is intentionally fudging the numbers or if she does not realize how much she plays. However I feel blessed for having found a gamer future wife so I know she will not nag at me for "playing that stupid game again."

Not trying to troll here, but I have a feeling I will be labeled as one. But I have an observation. I find it funny how quickly people here are to discredit studies funded by a "Pro-Microsoft" group stating how great *insert Microsoft Product here* is, but are equally quick without questioning it to adopt a study as the holy grail about Global Warming/Climate Change that is funded by an "Environmentalist" group. Studies are going to be skewed in the direction of the funding sources favor. I guess it is just personal bias.

There certainly won't be a market until the prices of the readers come down. $300? You gotta be crazy. Even at $50 they would in any case likely never entice me completely away from the real thing.

Think of it as the MP3 player of the book world. I am sure the same thing was said when the first MP3 players came out.

XM has long been known to be backed by Clear Channel (the same people that own all those stations on regular air wave stations that put all those comercials on your radio). And in May, according to this blurb, Clear Channel will start broadcasting "music" stations on XM that will include commercials.

" In May there will be a new category added to our channel guide call "Regional News, Talk & Music Channels." This new category will also include Clear Channel programmed music channels Nashville, KISS, MIX, Sunny, and WSIX. Please note that Clear Channel will start carrying commercials on these music channels in May. "

With the backing of Clear Channel you can almost be certain that this trend will continue on XM. If you are going to be getting a sattelite radio Sirius seems to be the way to go, at least for the time being.

I see nothing but whining in that article. Wanting everything for free with no time or effort put forth... He must have rolled a Pally.

Time may not be fully greater than skill. But to get skill you need to put forth the effort... and effort takes time. He talks about all these 40 man/woman instances and neglects to say that not even the most skilled players can run in there and beat the place on the first try. It takes a lot of time and effort to figure out those strategies to beat the encounters that this game puts forth. And then relaying that strategy to 39 other people (Sometimes more when you dont have the same 40 people there each time) so that the encounter goes as planned takes a lot of dedications/time/effort on everyones part. Why should people that put forth a lot of time not get the best rewards?

I am an officer in a guild that I am in and we have a member who is 12 years old. When he first came into the guild he was pretty much staying to himself wanting to do everything solo and wanting everyone else to help him achieve his goals. Over the past couple of months he has really started to open up to us and wants to know what he can do to help the guild he is constantly offering to help people with everything and has never turned anyone down when they need a warrior for something that they are doing. This is a complete 180 from where he was when he first came into the guild. Some may think that teaching people that time is more important than skill is bad... but it does teach kids how to work with others to accomplish goals and to work as a team. Both of these are very important life skills.
