> Although I applaud low power efforts, the 1.1 Ghz low voltage Dothan is suposedly under 7W, which beats the hell out of basically everything if all you are calculating is bogomips per watt.
My 1.1GHz ULV Dothan reports:
$ cat/proc/acpi/processor/CPU0/performance
state count: 5 active state: P0 states:
*P0: 1100 MHz, 5500 mW, 10 uS
P1: 1000 MHz, 5000 mW, 10 uS
P2: 900 MHz, 4500 mW, 10 uS
P3: 800 MHz, 4300 mW, 10 uS
P4: 600 MHz, 4000 mW, 10 uS
> Not sure off hand how that measures in bogomips, but I am reasonably sure someone will chime in with it's rating, and someone else will chime in with how useless it is as a measure of a processor.
Seeing as the Xscale is not super-scaler, a 400MHz part would have about 400 bogomips.
Since power was down, wouldn't that imply that BBoPL would not be interfering during the emergency??
People not being able to afford a TV can only HELP them.
My Pentium-M (733) has 5 clock-speed steps.
When will apple learn that we want to buy the 12" (or even a 10"), not because we're cheap, but because we want the smaller size?!
The crippling of the 12" Powerbook is one of the reasons that prevented me from buying an apple.
I agree. My Fujitsu P7010 has a 10" widescreen at 1280x768 and that seems about right. I can't imagine using basically the same res at 15.2"
And how come there's no 10"-wide powerbook? That was one reason apple lost our on my latest laptop purchase...

/.?
They had him on the news last night (in Austin) and he looked like your average
computer geek. Perhaps he'll post on
They also showed the spammers 400k+ house and beamer parked out front.
Intel has drivers for their http://ipw2100.sf.net and http://ipw2200.sf.net mini-PCI wifi cards...

Record the MPEG2 stream from your HD cablebox via firewire.
The USB Host feature of the 720 is a killer!
And I have my preferences set to exclude Timothy. Why am i seeing this?
Personally, I blame the ground.
Hey stupid - are you too
dumb to know there are
4 different simultaneous
24 hour days within a
single rotation of Earth?
Here's why:

They were probably ISOs (incentive stock options), and this taxation w/o gain was very common for a few years.
Look them up along with AMT (alternative minimum tax).
TimeWarner in Austin is already issuing the cards.
You can receive all your channels, but no program guide, pay-per-view, or iControl.
Just regular old MJPEG. mplayer plays it fine.
:(
No crash, though.
I would ask for a VIM plugin for message editing.
....but then you'd already be dead. :)
I already effectively have a whitelist on my phone.
If the number is not in my address book, the phone does not ring, and goes straight
to voicemail.
If it is someone I wanted to talk to, and they left a voicemail, I can return the call at my leisure and perhaps add their number to the whitelist.
AMD is a 35 year old company whose stock has never grown.
You can make money off AMD by riding the highs, but not as a long term investor.
> Also, for HD aficionados, TimeWarner doesn't have an HD DVR yet. Last I heard, it was supposed to come out in May.
Already available, atleast in Austin: the SA8000HD.

Production shortage?
Distribution shortage?
the possibilities are endless if you use your brain.
I've been searching for a new phone for 2.5 years now. I am willing to switch providers.
Unfortunately, nobody offers a phone that I want. Certainly nothing better than the phone I bought 5 years ago.
It may be a niche market, but I'm a customer actively looking to spend money, but nobody wants to sell to me.
