It would be even better if you remove the comics from Comic Con and only have a Video gaming event. That means no anime, board games, card games, just computer/TV based video games;). If I want to go to a comic book convention, I would go to comic book events, not video games. If I go to Otakon, I could care less if Capcom decides to have a nice booth. If I go to Tokyo Game show, I would not give a fuck if Spike Spiegel returns from the dead for a new season of Cowboy Bebop. If I go to a video game event, the only Green Latern I would want to see is behind a TV monitor and not some sweaty nerd wearing green spandex. Can't we geeks be more fragmented in our pursuits?
For one, I will welcome my $9.99 pricing overlord since Steve Jobs/Apple's views on value and pricing will change the culture of excess and decadence that is the Hollywood system of film production.
Since he is schooled in traditional business operations, he is aware about direct acountability, dealing with shareholders maintaing smooth operations, and foster profit by making smart business decisions.
I am tired of the whole idea Residual Payments dragging technology down because some guy apeared for 2 minutes of a TV show. I do not get paid for my work writing reviews/previews during my gig at PSXNation even though my stories has been used in various websites and I do not care if I even get paid at all.
It just does not make business sense to earn money for the physical labor you have performed previously. It is called working to earn a living. You stupid actors should realize this. If you had no say in owning the intelectual property in the development stage or front any money to support the production, you just deserve your wage while work.
Bring on the $9.99 era and just keep prices as what they are truly worth.
What if he visited in a forum like 4 chan and somehow came accross Bridget pictures? From what I recall, Whorley's previous charges were possesion in 1999 but it is unknown on how did he receive the files in question at the time. For visitors who use the picture forums to look at material, what if somebody posts some random 'shonen ai/yaoi' pictures in a catagory that is clearly intended for 'of age' characters. I am concerned if somebody would goatse a random link and pop up 'pedobear approved' underage images and the FBI would be knocking down the door.
The 1up Show and 1up Your's Podcast are awesome examples of gamer podcasts. For me I listen to the Kojima Productions Report, CAG Cast, Chatter Box Radio, Retro Gamer Radio, and Dual Screen Radio.
Gaming podcasts serves a need for content to play on my car MP3 player since music tends to go old fast. Basically, all you need is a CDRW and a knack to download any content. As long as the community wants to provide more content, more power to them and gives us less insentive to listen to any RIAA sanctioned garbage crap.
Hense the sarcasm in the parent, from what I've seen of CSI.
If you remember any episode in Scooby Doo, the adult world cannot figure out what is going on so with the terrible crimes, so Mystery Inc does it's thing. Velma gathers the clues and the villian, normally an old white male, gets caught by the accidental meanderings of Norville and Scooby. The message is simular, the fantasy of kids doing the right thing, the adult world is ineffective, and anybody over 30 is out to get you.
Reverse the roles and you get the CSI series. Where the man is always looking out for your interests, the old white male is the hero, and takes down of those meddling kids.

because the end user already paid to use a ISP to transmit data in form of email, hyperlinked documents, photos, Linux ISO, or internet radio. Managing bits and bits are just bits and bytes. Sure hard disks need to be defragged and administrators have to manage the machines but having a 'fee' for using email is redundant in terms of end user value.
Would you want to pay for a montly fee and $10 to just send the same data in a 'special format'?. If AOL is serious about 'email fees' it would only increase P2P communication outside of the email client.
Like myself and presumably other users, the end user does not care about how much the adminstrators are being paid, boo hoo to all of you ISP deskjockeys, since all the end user cares about is the precieved value of the networked service and how much little money that the end user has to invest.
since he invites a brother of a popular comedian and his friends to play basketball with Prince's band while they are wearing the same clothes from the club not to mention he served the guests pancakes the morning after.
So we can see giant planes flying around and Jedi slashing heads off of robots. We wanted 3 more Star Wars films because LucasFilm sells oodles of merchandise and thus funded George Lucas to create 3 more star Wars films.
Since directly funding more Firefly seasons is highly unlikely, why not buy all of the Firefly comics, videos, merchandise, toys, candy holders, ecetera. The possible backfire is that the show would be a giant toy commercial (I doubt Joss Whedon would do something like that except in parody).
In Japan there was a simular concept with the funding for two version of Tokimeki Memorial funded entirely by shareholders (please scroll down a little bit until you see a "February 26, 2004" headline). Shame that didn't go out well but I wonder if somebody has the stones to pull off this kind of project.
Who would stop from a sound technician going to community college, get an associates in Bussiness and start his or her own studio service? The artist and or band pay for the use of the studio for a per session fee and use of the sound equipment. The artist/performer/band would still have the copyright but the cost of recording equipment and acoustics would be covered. The money won't be as lucrative as working for the label but the money would be decent if the person sets shop in the right area.
I don't think having an iMac and a mic would be a good subsitute for an actual studio with the right acoustics since most people's homes aren't designed for acoustics and the cost of building an acoustic shed and a pc would be rather pricey for people who already plunked down for intruments and spent time writing the music.
This may be late but just get yourself a PS2 fliptop cover and Magic Swap 3.6 (it converts the NTSC to PAL signals). They also load data from memory cards as well so you can get yourself an HD Advance built in without using any other discs. I don't see the British courts outlawing them yet.;)
As for huge houses that cost a fortune....maybe we can afford them.
No is it just our banks give out too much money since they expect to make a killing from intrest from mortgages?
Vegeta, from Dragon Ball fame, has children with the human Bulma and Saiyans suposedbly have superhuman strenght. That cat has a max power level of 400,000,000 durring the Bu saga. Ah well, at least saiyans can lower thier poswer level just for the sexin.
Superman not sexin.
Lois in the comics doesn't make too much sense since I think they got it on during the comics at one ponint (this is what happens when you blog late at night).
Ben: Ah don' wanna talk to you no more, you empty-headed animal food-trough wiper! I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!

does that mean the copyright holder allows it's own infrigement of it's imaginary property and thus legitmizing the copy of copyriten material?
