I say he played a pretty unforgettable role when he and Wormtongue duked it out at the end of the third book, with Wormtongue getting kicked in the face--an action that led to his own demise.
"About Microsoft

Like many of you've already mentioned, I also bought several books outside of the U.S. and saved a bundle. I totally loathe the unreasonable markups on textbooks.
After 20 years, this is still my favorite manga of all time. For any anime fan, reading the manga version of Nausicaa is highly recommended (amazon.com search: nausicaa). Many regard it as Miyazaki's best work, and it shows in explicit details in the manga.
As for the animated version, it is very good because the story adheres to original script (manga). It stood the test of time--consider it came out almost 20 years ago.
"the cops are NOT SUPPOSED to bash down your door kill your cat and trample your petunias and then drag you naked in the street for copyright infringement."
The car is being sold in Japan, not the U.S. I agree in order to sell in the U.S., it must pass lots of inspections and testings.
In hindsight, a reserved parking space in cities like Tokyo and Hong Kong can easily exceed that of insurance premiums, so lots of car owners resort to parking on the cheaper/metered parking spaces located on the streets. So a self-parking car can actually save them money (assuming the drivers have mediocre parallel-parking skill). Imagine waiting on a mediocre driver who's attempting to manually parallel park, on a busy street in Tokyo. Multiply that by N.
In his book, After the Internet: Alien Intelligence, James Martin predicted the future will be dominated by highly specialized "machines" tailored to perform a limited set of tasks. His vision of AI is quite different from what we call it today.
Even before this got posted on/. I visited their club membership info. page and left wondering why in the world anyone would subscribe to the Silver and Gold membership plans if all membership classes enjoy the same benefits. It would only make sense that higher membership fees afford more benefits. Finally, someone at Mandrake has some kind of business sense to make this change.
I've used Mandrake off and on for the last two years and will be giving 8.2 a try shortly. Mandrake is a decent distribution for newbies and techies alike. I've recently chatted with a friend, who works at JPL, mentioned Mandrake is doing some customization of its distribution to cater to JPL. Asked why JPL didn't choose a more established distribution, the answer was Mandrake is a more nimble (flexible) and smaller company to work with. It really deserves some kind of credit for making Linux appealing to such a wide audience.

I think somebody already has prior art:
Wearable cell phone
Yeah, I agree with one poster. The Lindows name is stupid. Did anyone mention Lindoze for a change?
Let's just say, it's not a real ISP when it screws with its customers as much as Michael Jackson does with children.

I agree.
May I quote you?

In that case, the state can adopt a no-fault policy, thus eliminating frivolous lawsuits and those "middlemen".
