I said that keeping in mind that the editors are posting from, it's still March 31st. [sarcastic point] It's an American site, I'm an American, deal with it [/sarcastic point]
The only problem with that is that you don't have the lobbying power they do. Hey, you might even be a popular guy, but I seriously doubt you have as many friends in high places as any big buisness.
Our only hope is protesting, talking, and voting. Breaking the law may sound like a good idea, but to me, it demonstrates immaturity.
It is illegal, deal with it. If you want to change the law (dmca) that makes acts that circumvent copy protection illegal, then you need to lobby your representatives. here are some good links
Sadly, any thing that opposes the US government probably won't last long. Yessir, the days of the french, and the rest of the world are drawing near ane end.
I know what you mean. Mine is mp3's. My collection is somewhere around 84,000 songs.....All different, at least different versions.(bootlegs, remixes, covers ect) Yep, I've listened to the obscure ones maybe twice, at a maximum....
Admit it. You'll camp out anyway. Just like me, we can't not watch it. Seeing it might make us angry, but not seeing it at midnight of the release is possibly deadly. It's just like any addiction.
Software isn't really engineering. They don't have to take engineering exams be certified hackers. Sorry to be an ass, but it's true. In computer engineering, we did circuts, and writing code in assembly to run on those IC, naturally we started with easier languages, java, C++, then went on to kernel development before hitting that, but building hardware is engineering, not writine a program that sends all of this month's inventory to a different file to compare it against last months. Or putting up the latest website with fancy widgets.
You know, I resent the fact that you consider anyone who doesn't know the difference between a ogg file, an mp3 file, and an AAC file a mindless drone. Do you know how everything in your body function? How to diagnose illnesses and treatments. The medical analogy might not be as comparative, so how about hobbyist mechanics. Do you know every part of your car, or even remotely all of them? How to change them and troubleshoot problems? They're are plenty of smart people out there, much smarter than you it would seem, who don't know much about computers, but it would seem that only us geeks are the really arrogant ones. Maybe it stems from all the social problems we had to endure. Anyway, I grew out of my elitest phase, I'm going to recommend that you do too.
On a side note, I decided to reply rather than to mod you retarded, or troll.
Actually, the friction between two "bags" increases the chances of it tearing, while your grocies end up in your parenters vagina. Might as well just carry your food to your car yourself>/i> without the bag...
It was Free Starcraft Game Server. Or atleast the one I played. With a simple change of the ip address in your registry, you played on their servers. A lot less lag, and a lot less players. It worked really well for my friends and I to get together and play. We dropped connection a lot less frequently too. I tried to get to their site (www.fsgs.net) a few months back, but it was down.
I was pretty sure that was in 2010. The core of Jupiter is discovered to be a diamond roughly the size of the Earth.
Then again, it's been ages since I've read them.
Your best bet is a LAN party with your friends. Your real friends, who, if you catch cheat, you can nail tacks through their, well, ya know. Online gaming is dominated by cheaters and fourteen year old kids who threaten to hax0r your computer when you're doing better than them. Though they rarely know what an IP address is, let alone a port. If I sound a bit bitter, it's because I play a lot of Warcraft, and the maturity level is insane. I don't talk to people when I play, and all I can stand to lay is team games with my room mate. I played a lot of C-strike in the day, but it just lost its appeal after having played Aztec for the hundred-thousandth time. Not to mention all of the kids who use aim bot. I have it a bit easy, where lan games can be arranged by walking down the dorm hallway and yelling at the kids on my floor. It's really hard, and a lot of people ruin the fun. Though, I guess your other option is to just get insanely good and hop around all the servers screaming "3a7 my r0ck37 biz0tch" as you let loose your fury in such an unholy manner everyone just assumes you ARE cheating, and ban you.
It hasn't changed much here. We do a lot of work with Linux and even some kernel development. I jumped ship though, I'm a psych major at ISU, then I'm heading to Drake to law school. They've got a lot of good and fun courses though, sometimes I really want to get back into it, but having worked tech, I don't want to do it for a living. My heart just isn't in it. On a side note, they have a really neat information warfare track that you can specialize in now. It's absolutely insane!

The pigeons, this? The April fools joke this year is they bunk stories are coming today instead of tomorrow.

Wow, all you have to do to get Funny mods is ask for them? Don't forget to say please. Hey, can I bet some Flamebait, please?

I can finally silence those kids on B.net who shouldn't be allowed unsupervised access to the internet.
I don't want to be harsh, but most bands don't deserve a revenue stream. The crap they pump out should be stopped immediately.
Vaseline? I didn't get a rubber glove!! I mean, what if that guy didn't wash his hands after his last trip to the restroom. Sick!
So is John Romeo, but it's still easy to make the mistake.
On the shore, obviously.
Can you help me out a bit? I'm interested in using my phone as a modem for my laptop. Do you have a provider that allows this? If so, what is it?
Fear not! I'll rush in and save you from the peril!

Well, that is technically true. I mean, they WILL die.

That's a good question. Why should I have to pay apple for my new, beautiful, wonderful, MAGICAL power book?

or $300 for a good set of the DDR pads. Even splitting the cost with my room mates stretched us a bit thin.
