I attempt to ban Chinese ISPs from my website. Since nobody in China uses Macs, they have no reason to visit my site except to post comment spam. Right now I just block a specific ISP when one of their people posts spam. It would be nice if I could block all of China.
Every phishing scam I've received has been either for a bank or service I've never used or sent to an account I've never used for the service in question. I rarely use eBay and when I do, I use an email address I reserve for that purpose only. I've never received a phishing email at that address, but I receive at least 10 a week at addresses I've never used at eBay. Same thing for PayPal. I've also received many for banks I've never heard of.
At least they could try to target the scams a little better, like sending one for a service I actually use and to the email address I use for that service.
Remember, Intel makes a lot of other chips besides CPUs. Maybe Apple is interested in their ethernet controller, WiFi, audio, bluetooth, or other support chips.
No scientist has disputed evolution. The only people who consider it flawed and dispute it are those who feel that evolution conflicts with their religious beliefs and refuses to reconsider those beliefs.
In other words it's OK for straight people to talk about their girlfriend and have pictures of their family around their desk. Straight people flaunt their sexuality every day, but if a gay person did the same, it's wrong.
I wish they'd block my sites, so I wouldn't have to deal with comment spam from China. I end up blocking almost all Chinese ISPs in my.htaccess every time someone there spams me. It would save me a lot of work if they simply added my sites to their block list.
Get a USB hub. Very few computers have more than two USB ports, so you're expected to use a hub. Also, Apple's USB keyboards have a built in hub, so you connect the mouse to the keyboard instead of the second USB port.
Almost every Drupal site has been hit with those spams. See the discussion at drupal.org. They seem to look for random low numbered nodes and add the comment to them.
Using the spam module, closing comments on all but the most recent nodes, and adding a deny for their user agent eliminated all of them on both of my Drupal sites.
If they're going to block third party notifiers, they better provide their own for Mac OS X & Linux. I want to have my message count in my menu bar, as I do with GmailStatus.
"Manos" is the most putrid movie I've ever seen, but "Armageddon" is by far the worst movie I've ever paid to see. I still regret the two hours I wasted in the theater watching it.
They're also planning city wide WiFi in Wilton Manors, FL (http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/broward/sf l-cwireless01feb01,0,3650838.story). There are already several hot spots in the city, which is only 2.5 mile square.
Speaker for the Dead was by far the best of the series, even better than Ender's Game.
Why not go with a completely free Linux distro like Debian instead of a commercial one?
Same here. They're a waste of time.

Tiger already has it. You can apply parental control to any non-administrator account.
I'd like to see more spammers get killed. Spamming should be punishable by death.
"Manos: the Hands of Fate" Nothing else even comes close. It's truly painful to watch.
That probably explains why I got a bit less spam than usual today.
Let's put a few big-time spammers to death, just to use them as an example and scare away some of the others.

Since I hate Britney so intensely, I wouldn't click on it.

Typical Microsoft FUD. This sounds a lot like monkeyboy's remarks about the iPod & Tiger.

There are some non-evil Christian churches that welcome gays.

I'm a strong believer in the death penalty for spammers.
I NEVER want any kind of notifier popup on my screen. I'd rather have an unobtrusive little indicator on the menu bar or dock.

Wouldn't a google bomb be more fun & more effective, like the ones they've done to democratic candidates.
