I found playing Mario World, and all those other SNES games very difficult to play with my key board, so I paid a a whole $10 for a game pad, and it's probably the best gaming controller I've ever owned. Although one bad side effect from it being $10 is that the directional pad is already wearing out.
Most people wouldn't touch DOS anymore (Most Slashdot users exempted from that)
How many Slashdot users do you think use DOS. Since most think Windows is an inferior OS, I would think that they would consider DOS beneath them as well.
If you want to get some background on GNU and Linux send RMS a question about Linux(or GNU/Linux), but call it GNU/KDE/OpenOffice/Mozilla/Linux, and if your lucky like me you'll get a half a page email about why it should be called GNU linux.

The US had jets in WWII, they just didn't deploy them as widely since they weren't as desperate.

I was able to easily rip the CD with my iMac without it locking up.
