I ordered mine from Woolworths as well, same problem here. They've sent out the Wii Play pack (which I'm off to go pick up now and install the Wii Bluetooth Windows Mouse driver deeley), but I'm still hoping for delivery from Woolworths before Chrimbo, as they've said it SHOULD arrive before then.

Luckily it isn't a present for anyone except myself but I'm still going to whinge! I ordered it on the 22nd so probably a bit later on in the list than you. I'm still hopeful though. Apparently my Monkey Ball is shipping on Mondayish, but waiting on stock from the supplier. *sigh*

Its just the usual crap we get in the UK really!

I hate tailgaters, if someone is close up behind me, I get in the left lane (UK - and if I'm not already in that lane) and I slow down.

There is no excuse for it. If I'm driving too slow, overtake. If I'm driving too fast, get into the right lane.

So if you find someone you're tailgating is getting slower and slower, maybe its me. There's an overtaking lane for a reason, if its unsafe, maybe you're going too fast.

Just because you have 'somewhere to be' is not an excuse to be an unsafe driver. I'm happy to go ten mph if it stops an accident caused by an idiot like the parent going too fast.

I work less than 2 meters from the kitchen door, plus theres a radio that always on. Even when I've got headphones on and I'm deep in work, I'll still get disturbed by someone - and the premise of "Can you give me two minutes, I'm right in the middle of something" seems to mean NOTHING!

They also promise NEVER to email customers because of the inherent problems.

Reading the article, it does not say that all 11 million customers' information was even on the laptop, and the only information on there was account numbers and names.

I have no worries that my details will get into the wrong hands -- and I'm positive even if they did, Nationwide wouldn't complain. As one of the few BUILDING SOCIETIES (Its not a bank!) running, I'm sticking with them.

Smile is run by the Co-Op, who I've got no problems with, but they are a Bank rather than a Building Society.

This one comes up so often with me too. I hate it, though I make a nice living out of fixing computers on the side, I'm fed up of helping so-called friends (not my close friends and family), I'm very tempted to say I've given up using them completely and say I'm unable to help. Seems to be the only way out of it.

Combine this with the fact that my job as coding is paid about as much as a delivery person, I'm tempted to get a job doing that instead. Hell, at least its more varied and I might actually get rid of the back-ache I've had for 3 years now.

I'm not moaning, but I'd like to know what other people think about this. I'm so tempted to throw everything I've learnt in computing away - I'm by no means a complete expert at everything but I do PHP coding for a living, and to a pretty complex standard. I'd feel like I was letting myself and others down by not doing it anymore but the stress and anger is too much. I feel like I'm losing!

Probably my blog would've been a better place for this, but I might get some replies on this, even though its completely off-topic.

There is a difference between physical dependence (characterized by symptoms of withdrawal) and psychological dependence (or simply addiction).

SSRI's are physically dependant, they do cause withdrawal symptons. Naturally, they would though - they affect brain patterns very deeply. Though that is not to say that they are particually difficult to wean yourself off them.

This seems an interesting study though. I would be interested in comparsions to Dopamine and SSRI's and will be looking around for them.

Perhaps at least I can offer some thoughts on actually having used it everyday and built it myself. Its a wonderful system imho. So what if it's not 5% faster than the previous model? Its not any more expensive. At the very least the thought and design gone into the CPU Mounting is great, no more fiddling with stupid heat-sink clips, its a nice clamping system that feels solid. It runs Windows XP, Vista and Gentoo fantastically smoothly (Yep, I've tried all three! I use Gentoo normally.) - and seems to do it better than my Intel 939 at work, which is meant to be faster. It also overclocks like an absolute dream! I can squeeze 8% overclocking on it without a problem. Not just that, but my nice AM2 Motherboard will support an AM3 processor. Hows that for upgrading? C'mon guys, just cos its the new thing - and especially after all the chipset problems with 64 bit systems, this is a nice system. I'd never go back to Intel after using it, personally I can't stand the 'Duo Core', even if it is 1% faster or whatever. Whats going to happen when Intel bring out the next big thing? Dug
