    often the big bulky tags serve more as a security deterrent as an actual alarm.

    The amount of times i've been in a store when the alarm has beeped, and no-one has taken notice...

    These rfid tags have less of a presence, and therefore more people may try and take them, coupled with the alarm being ignored, this could be a problem.

    the key is they are going to link anyway, so it isn't extortion/protection rackets..

    seriously tho, apart from the challenge of coding something like this, and the possiblitly of branching it into different systems, i don't really see any point in this, tetris is meant to be played by humans, theres no entertainment in watching a machine play, is there?

    I still don't see what the hype of a tablet PC is all about, for much less you can pick a a PC, or even a laptop and a Wacom Graphics tablet.

    well, i suppose its nice to see exactly what you are about to click on, but with a little skill, and co-ordinaton, the same can be achieved with a wacom, or copy of.

    Until they come down in cost, with handwriting reconition so good that i can scrawl quicker than i can type (which is very, very messy) i won't be bothering.

    Even graffiti on the Palms is hell-in-a-handbag to get used to, compared to typing. :)

    I would like this idea, especially if i could tell it what i wanted to see, as long as there was no sound.

    Can you imagine being weighed down with not only your ads, but everyone elses as well?

    Noisy enough places as they are....

    Anyone see Minority Report? As he walks through the shops, and is bombarded with ads? It could be closer to that than i would like..... :(

    For some unknown reason, i read through your flame, just because it was near the bottom of the page, so i didn't rush it.

    And one thing, above all, stood out.

    You don't even know what you are talking about: All this about CmdrTaco, is a load of rubbish, for this simple reason:

    He didn't even write the article. He just posted it. The writer/submitter, is the person who wrote the little section you see on the main page.

    If you don't pay enough attention to things like that, soon enough you're going to have very confused opinions about the motives and views of Taco, Tim, Michael, and everyone who has the power to actually post articles.

    AC current, incorrect. AC stands for alternating current (as no doubt you know) so calling it AC current would be wrong, as it stands for alternating current current.

    In short, you can drop the 'current' part, and also flame me for nitpicking. :)

    He might not like it, but that doesn't mean he has the right to do anything about it. Unless, of course, fair use is suddenly not inclusive of commentary?

    This is illegal anyway, copyright is not just acknowledging where the source came from, it must be obtained in advance, and most likely would not be granted....

    It all comes under "fair use" look it up if you are interested....
