Yes, and no. Ragnarok was to be the end of one time, the time we're currently in. (for the life of me, I can't remember which, I want to say wind and something, but that could have been the last one).
However, Ragnarok is seen two ways, as going to be the end of the world, and as having already happened. In one, the world dies, in the other, the gods and giants have a big *big* battle, and most of them, including the Allfather -- Odin -- bite it.
In short, games using cute characters, in a pastel world, with cute "mobs" will cause our brains to rot, and people's eyes to burn and fall out... Or so I can hope. (can't sit until 3rd level.... that's an interesting view on the world)
I know this is a bit off-topic, but I find that DMing pen and paper RPGs has helped me become a better public speaker. It has also helped me develop the ability to use rich descriptions where appropriate. Games that encourage interaction, even if only amongst a few people can be beneficial. Especially when people cannot shorten "you" into "u".
I really, really loathe those people./me skulks away.
I don't know, but keep it below $50, and I'll be first in line... Just make sure it's not labelled as that, so that I can walk into a store, buy things, walk out, and when they ask me, I'll just run it through it without a problem.
Maybe make it part of a cell phone power-booster type gimmick? Something innocous anyway.
I only worry they'll go to Europa, against the old mandate, and start drilling. Once the shambling plant-thing comes up and kills them, then the US will be laughing... Yeah.
As long as you don't get the "Elite" version, I believe microsoft is still making the full-size natural (like the original one, that I still have, love, and use)
Changes to the Elite included stupid shortcut keys, regrouping the Insert Delete Home End PU PD block, and making the arrow keys into a Diamond shape group. Ew.
The original MS Natural Keyboard rules.../me runs home to cuddle keyboard.
Companies choose profit over privacy? Well no ****.
Companies choose profit over everything.
Note: this is said about companies as a whole. Similarly, even though you can have a ton of smart individuals in the world, people will always remain stupid as a whole.
I know the end of the book: Either the bug gets squashed, or he does. Or maybe dumbledore... wait, no, no main characters die... He comes back from the future to fight a new terminato----hulk... Wait, I'm lost again.
...Spielberg told us. "I think he's in great condition to put the fedora and the hat and the leather jacket back on and crack that bullwhip a few more times."
Put on the hat first or second? Because we want to see the Fedora, not some other hat. : )
More On Topic, 1984 is/was not a vision of the future, but (to me) a warning.
My local paper did a report about it yesterday (or the day before) on what would have been Orwell's 100th birthday. As a warning of what could happen if technology controls us, 1984 is wonderful.
In all honesty, I once had a stable build of WindowsME running on an box.
I was installing IE6, and it was right at the point of finishing removing IE5 and crashed. After I rebooted I had 2 months of uptime, while playing games (mostly half-life based mods). I didn't have a windows explorer, it opened up the same calls as my computer, and displayed a grey area where the directory listing used to be. But damn, it was stable, and amazed a lot of people because of it (mostly me, but still...)
We've got grounds for a huge lawsuit. It's obvious that in bad faith the University Professor is attempting to slashdot slashdot. He even included a direct link to our homepage. Untold damage!

Thank you Arthur.

Or over the Sahara, where I'm sure it will cause tons of fuss. C'mon, why not shoot it around the world the other way, it'd have the necessary fuel.
Yes, that's common.
It's either "new" as in GNU/Linux or "new" as in the African animal.
DEC 25 perhaps?
Because everyone knowns that OCT 33 just doesn't make sense.

It's a troll article, almost.

- Billy "Big Pimp" Gates.
LogicX is my hero, (yes, I know this is OT). Thank you for having the raid.
- a loving collegedrinker.
Please, never call the H2 a Hummer again. I don't care who makes it, it's never going to be a hummer.
:-P
Alternatively, if you disagree, I have some Brand-Name Fokley Sunglasses I'd be glad to sell you for only $120.
It's a complete rip of another users post, and sorry to him for trying to whore him out of this post, but:
Thank goodness! I was worried I'd go a day without finding out more about SCO.
I am currently R(ing)TFA, and I gotta say... There's not much to go on. It makes one think that SCO might not have a case.
So, he said: A:Ã.Ã"Ã^o}xÃâÃà âPâ(TM)â(TM):@îåÃOEËoeÃ"DÂÃ2$
::slap:: (mostly for taking jokes too far)
Stunning. : )
Karma:
Didn't know that. I'm gonna go look that book up, (seeing as this is ask.slashdot.org) anyone know of an updated source as well?
