    No this isn't a flame its the truth. This is being marketed to people who are just looking for the cheapest price and who don't give a damn about the browser. No revolutions here. THe people won't even notice cause it'll be so customized you couldn't tell it form real stock netscape. Just a bunch of cheapskates using a dying form of internet access. If anything I'd be insulted if my favorite browser was getting marketed to the bottom barrel crowd.

    Well WEP is a nuisance enough to keep the casual person from hacking into an AP. That's why people keep it up. At any rate if you don't broadcast SSIDs and use MAC filtering, you don't have to worry about it.

    ....is a sign that the show has come down with the Deep Space Nine Syndrome, where all aliens look alike (humanoid) except for a ridge on their nose or forehead, as made popular by DS9 and derivitives. Apparently it is cheaper and easier to slap on a nose ridge instead of making them sit for 4 hours to make them look more alien.

    Seems like back in the mid 90s everyone swore by SCO that they had a very tight OS. I know a lot of manufacturing type places thought SCO WAS God, not that God invented them.

    The problem with switching carriers is you have to switch phones (unless you get one unlocked, but we wont get into that). What someone needs to do is build a web app that matches up people that need to change phones to get on the carrier they want. 1 to 1 swaps with only shipping costs involved. That way people can walk in with phones similar to the ones they had and get them activated. Similar to the way they had a book swap web app on my college campus to help students swap books without haivng to buy new ones.
