I received the Microsoft Security Bulletin mailing-list emails (with patch directions) 4 hours ago while I was sleeping. I still wouldn't say Microsoft is getting "better" though. They'd be getting "better" if the vulnerabilities didn't exist in the first place! :P

It's somewhat funny though that in a closed-source system how people are still finding vulnerabilities. Can you imagine how many vulnerabilities would be found in the first day of Microsoft releasing their source code to the world? I think the number would be staggering.

    Summary:

I thought this article was supposed to be about Google and God, but it was more about wi-fi and how wi-fi combined with Google will allow you to "find anything, anywhere, anytime". But it THEN goes on about how broadband adoption will allow al-Qaeda will be able to more easily send recruitment videos using video-on-demand. Of course, it mentions 9/11, as expected. It also says that America has to take "it" seriously. Oh, and it states a couple of interesting statistics. Yay. There, now you don't need to RTFA.

It wouldn't take long to develop a web of trust of, say, your entire school or workplace. But you're also right, it won't gain wide acceptance unless there's easy way to connect to the "network".. I just opened the "Network status" dialog, and what do I type in? Nothing right now, until I can get someone else to load it up.
