  1. Google News RSS on Google News Leaves Beta · · Score: 0

I looked over the RSS you can use... I was quite happy to see that one "news company" included images into their RSS Feed. On my personal site I use MSNBC right now, and after looking over CNN's, MSNBC, etc etc Google is the only one nice enough to include nice little images into their RSS Feed. Nice :)

  2. Robots?! No way! on Robot Pets Almost as Good as Real Ones? · · Score: 0

So Robot pets eh? I personally own 4 parrots. Now, how on God's green Earth is a Robot supposed to mimic the antics I see on a daily basis that I see in my birds? Now, the birds honking, screaming, talking, coming up with their own sentences, being fluffy, playing in water and stealing my food... can't be replaced by a metal pet that attempts to honk and learn to talk like my birds... I mean, how could I give up a pet that tells ME to goto sleep every night for a robot?!

  4. Intel for Macs = Awesome on What is the Intel Switch Costing Apple? · · Score: 0

Personally, I do not think that Apple cares how much switching to Intel will cost in the short term. In the long term, they will be able to lower costs and offer their products to a larger consumer base so that they may increase sales. Already, with switching to Intel, they have become more mainstream for the coming shopping seasons, and years. Plus, as the article states, the IBM Processors were power hungry, and created wayyyy to much heat, much like the AMD processors on the market. Intel is definately a good choice for apple in the long run.

  5. Eh.. on Intel Loses Market Share to AMD · · Score: 0, Interesting

Reading this brings up bad memories of working at Best Buy During college. However, while I am happy to see a smaller company like AMD make a dent in the PC market, I have to say, I would still never buy an AMD based system. I have had AMD based systems in the past... Issues that I have had included overheating and missing bench marks, so I switched to Intel and have never had an issue with my P4 processor. And now that Intel is being put into the new Macs, I think we will see Intel take the lead again this year with the AMD users grumbling that they are in the minority of new PCs again. Either way I personally don't care, But I would prefer an Intel processor over AMD just because of sheer quality.

In a time of war, the President has such powers as to suspend the need to goto court for such activities. And yes, we are at work. In a joint resolution was passed after 9/11/01 to give the president the power to wage war against the terrorists. But why should we care even if we do wire tap such people? Chances are: 1. They are not US Citizens and NOT entitled to the rights under our constitution for criminal punishment etc and 2. They want to kill us. Why fight that? Do you want to give these people the right to kill us, plan in the dark and destroy more lives, and more of our cities? The only reason why the Democrats are flipping out over this is because they aren't doing it, they aren't in charge and they can;t take the credit for freeing Afganistan Iraq, and Hopefully soon, North Korea and Iran.

Personally, as a republican, I feel that this is complete and utter garbage that only the ACLU can come up with. The president has the duty of protecting the Citizens of the United States against all Enemies Foreign AND yes AND domestic. Which is exactly what he is doing. By wire tapping terrorist phone calls, not only is he doing his job, but hs is doing a damn fine job of it. I know you all will mark this as trolling, but I feel the ACLU is overstepping is bounds, which it needs to learn quickly does not include dictating national security policy.

Now that we are able to spot white dwarf stars that are the size of earth in Detail, I am hoping that SOON we will be able to directly observe rocky worlds that are the size of this planet. While the hubble is a small telescope, it would be interesting to see telescopes put into space that are say... the size of Subaru Telescope on Mauna Kea (I was there a few weeks ago, the observatories are ... well... awesome!).

Anyway, with knowing that there are over 100 star systems out there with planets that we have found, I hope we find something much like our own soon. I know they exist, we can't be it...

"Look we have our own Internet system, what you gonna do now, US?!"

This is of course made up! haha. However using microwaves to peer through walls and see whats going on is kinda nifty. However, I would think it would be dangerous over prolonged exposure, since a microwave does move molecules around to heat stuff up.
