    Huh? The interface on the Roku is pretty good. It's the web interface that sucks. If they changed the Roku interface to match the one on the web, I think I'd drop them.

    Not much you can do with them. Star Raiders is still fun every once in a while, though.

    The thing that most of you are forgetting is that you still have to move the product from where it would be manufactured in the US to the coast for shipping overseas. That means union costs for UPS, truck, or rail. That's probably going to cost more than the trip across either of the big ponds.

    Not to mention that the Tea Party is made up of FISCAL conservatives, including Republicans, Democrats and Independents. Yes, the Tea Party has some social conservatives, but that's not what the party is all about.

    I've been traveling on the job for 35+ years and have a map in my head. I don't 'need' GPS to find my way around, but it's handy to have. It displays my speed more accurately than the speedometer and it gives a fairly accurate time of arrival.

    When I go to another state to work I ask for the opinions of the guys I'm working with to tell me which local places are the best for breakfast and dinner.

    No. Forget efficiency. The goal is to have a nice lawn, and that means cutting the grass using a different pattern each time. Never mow your lawn the same way over and over again.

    I had the streaming + 1 DVD plan for 9.99, and now I have the streaming-only plan for 2 bucks less. The way I travel all the time on the job meant that I wasn't really getting any value out of the DVD part.

    Now if only Netflix would fix their streaming problem permanently. They seem to be down quite a bit nowadays, sometimes for hours. Maybe they can buy some better equipment with some of that $$ they're expecting to rake in.

    In fact many of us in the older generation were opposed to "safe" playgrounds when they were first introduced. It's about time common sense is coming around again.

    Why reinvent the wheel? Humans are human and have been that way for thousands of years. We grow and mature by being challenged, even if that challenge means sometimes getting hurt (or killed).

    Now, anybody want to listen to wisdom next time?

    The taxpayers of the city lost $500K. It's easy to spend or play with money that you haven't earned through working your ass off.

    The good citizens worked hard for that money. Did they have a vote about how it was being "invested" in some feel-good scheme their know-it-all leaders wanted? Seriously, a man can be selling insurance one day, and then after he's elected he's suddenly an expert on everything? Give me a break.

    Politicians of every stripe are out of control. Rein them in before they destroy everything.

    Worse than a new house with an HOA is an old house in a historic district. You can't do anything without approval. Paint your house THIS color, roof your house with THESE shingles, plant only THESE plants, etc..

    It's a total nightmare!

    Oh, and the idea of every house having a white roof, that's utter nonsense. When Billy Boy does it, and all his crazy friends do it (including AL Gore!), then maybe, just maybe, we should consider it.
