Seriously while to most of us its obvious apparently the suit at Comcast still havent realized that G4 is the biggest piece of shit they have ever tried to force down peoples throats.
For one thing, it kept none of the humor (ie it was witty and brainy) that made Tech TV great. Guys I know its hard to understand here but most gamers actually HAVE a brain. Hell most of us are over the age of 21.
Second the reruns SUCK. I flip it on and just about every show on there IS a rerun. At least Tech TV managed to make 12 hours of original content. G4 even after buying Tech TV still hasnt gone past 4 hours of new shows.
Third hot girls who dont have a clue about anything technical is NOT attractive. Likewise there are a whole legion of girl gamers out there too, start bringing them into to it too instead of thinking gaming = guys.
The list could go on, but I think the biggest killer is the fact that, quite frankly there wasnt enough content to keep the TV shows about games going in the 80's-90's why do you think that just because its a few years later there would be enough for a whole fucking channel! There isnt, not unless you get technical which you guys seem to be afraid to do.
In the end though I think the current turnaround for G4 is the most telling... more and more its becoming less about gaming and more about guys, and well we have a non-digital cable channel for all of that (Spike) so why the hell would we watch yours when Spike actually has some decent original shows once in a while.
Sept Nintendo (unlike Sony) has come to not really care what the homebrewers are doing and to even take some cues from them in putting out stuff for the DS.
The site went down sat night, came back up then went down again sunday night. The page saying it would be back up is actually from when it went down Saturday.
Bsy explained why in a blog post on his site. Basically OP and a lot of the transformers played with a lot of size issues in order to work in the cartoon (IE the animators didnt give a rats ass at it being beliveable)
In order for Bay to make it beleiveable and to use live effects the way he wants to, he had to modify them to fit vehicals that could realistically become 30 foot tall robots. The truck that makes OP is infact the biggest big-rig in the world, and the only one that could realistically become OP and have all the parts actually work and not "dissapear"
as for the flames, they come later. the OP we first see doesnt have them, its for a scene in the script where they disguise OP
funny enough SE changed the sitting pose of Mithras because the original one (with there legs open so you could see their panties) was too suggestive and cause complaints.
From Playonline:
Tokyo, Japan (July 18,2006) Square Enix Co, Ltd ("the Company) wishes to comment on a specific media report dated July 14th, stating that the Company is developing a sequal to its online game title Final Fantasy XI and plans to release the title on three platforms - the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system from Sony Computer Entertainment Inc., the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system and Windows Vista the next-generation operating system from Microsoft Corporation.
The Company did not make such an announcement and has not made any decision resembling those detailed in the media report.
As the Company announce in May 2005, it is currently developing a online title for next-generation platforms including game concoles and PC's however this title is being developed as a completely new MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online RPG) We will disclose futher details of this title, including platform compatability, immediately after and relevant decisions are made.
In Addition the Company continuously plans to release expansion packs for FINAL FANTAYS XI, available on PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, and Windows, as well as perform version updates.
actually you COULD rotate it 360, its not the joint that screws up the motion, its the muscles needed to create the motion.
Nature makes rotating joints all over the place, its just its kinda useless thanks to the need to have something to move the joints. What would be more accurate is nature blows at creating gears.
I know its going to get me rated down, because its a very unpopular view with my age set, but the fact is there is absolutly NO reason why students should be bringing in electronic devices like game boys, cell phones, PSPs, beepers and the like into school
Parents love to use the emergancy rap, but what does that do? Most states if not all REQUIRE a parent or guardian to be present to pull a kid out of school if they are under 18, and the parent to phone the building if they are over. Likewise these things are not being use for emergancys but for the most part for kids to screw around in school. We have a hard enough time to force kids to even pay attention in school (dont give me the bad teachers rap, thats just a copout for letting kids fuck off) the less distractions the better.
Why is it for hundreds of years things where perfectly fine without these devices but only NOW are they needed. Its a excuse by people when they should be putting there foot down. Sure it might violate kids rights, but the way things are going these days, kids wont even KNOW there rights are being violated they so rarely pay attention to what they need to learn.
And you wonder how a moron could be elected president?
Well thats the journalists rule of thumb these days regardless, speculating instead of reporting.
That being said every release of OSX coupled with new machines HAS infact increased market share, just the increase has been slight. The real problem is people dont know what Apples real marketshare is, marketshare does not reflect market saturation. Many people have either a Mac and a PC, or have a Mac but buy a PC more often then they buy a Mac. Its kinda a known fact in the IT world that studies by most computer mags show, people hold on to Macs much longer than they would PCs.
The fuel thats what. That fuel is under preassure, touch a oxygen tank under preassure and its cold, and thats just oxygen, the shuttle uses a lot more than just oxygen for it liquid propellant.
While the SRBs are solid fuel and thus not all that cold, that big hunking tank is FULL of liquid fuel and thus cold enough to freeze.
not really, because nothing was there to stop a company from adding chips to the carts to improve things, another clear advantage of a cart (StarFox, Pilotswings, KillerInstinct, Doom) Carts where much better than CDs but where clearly way too expensive.
Last I looked, everyone in the world had tariffs of some kind in place. The US is one of the few countries that willingly calls them what they are though. Likewise they exist simply to prevent states from creating their own, what happened in the 1790's. Lastly its a system that more and more is being preasured out of existance by US lawmakers and the WTO which is seeking to eliminate them.
name one law that has? the only laws out there that prevent buisnesses from doing anything are the anti-monopoly laws and those dont say you cant be the only company in town, simply that you can use less than legal buisness practices to become the only in town. There is nothing wrong with being a monopoly if your competitor royally fucked themselves into the ground with bad buisness practices.
Yes he can, he doesnt HAVE to use Manufacturer A, he can use B C D E F G and so on.
The consumer has the decision, it was thier decision to use A knoing they HAD to use Product B, its not like Apple doesnt make it clear you have to use a iPod to play the music off your computer.
I can understand the things being done to Microsoft because for the most part there is no other choice, most buisness and entertainment programs run on Windows and thats it, its next to impossible to run in Linux, and Microsoft makes a effort to prevent manufacturers from ever putting Linux on machines they sell. But this iTunes stuff is just crap, there are plenty of other players out there, and plenty of other serivces not to mention you can rip your own CDs and use the music that way. Nothing is forcing you to buy a iPod or use iTunes, its a choice. More importantly other players work IN iTunes, you just cant use the store, I used a RIO in iTunes for years before buying a iPod.
This whole law smacks of Frances communist-like laws to give poorly run French buisnesses a chance by gimping the better run foreign competitors. I thought the EU was created to prevent countries from doing this kind of crap as long as they where members.
agreed especially with a lot of the service problems on the most popular servers, and the wide gap between 1-59 play and 60 playstyles its no wonder that WoW would have a crash.
BUT remember this is not a bad thing, with less people comes better service and sometimes better content. I would much rather be in a game with 100-400 thousand people than one with 6 million.
no its problem is it only charts popular ones that get press with a few more obscure ones like Doufis being thrown in.
Its big problem though is accuracy. Unless the games publisher actually states how many players there are (something FFXI, Lin and others dont do) it just guestimates them. FFXI for years now only says they have over 500,000 simply because SE doesnt care about numbers but about making the experience good to players. I can garentee you that with the last expantion server populations have risen as a lot of former WoWers are coming back into FFXI (infact out Guild which had WoW and FFXI branches saw its WoW completely blow up and the bulk move back into FFXI because of anger at Blizzard and infighting), but he takes SEs company line of over 500,000 to be a dead set 500,000.
Nintendo and Sega never jacked up the prices of those carts by their own free will. Carts cost a LOT of money to make. Game Over estimated it cost manufacturers almost 3/4th of the price of the game on the cart it was loaded on alone, the other 1/4 being game development and profit.
This price was why even Nintendo was looking to CDs (with Nintendos Play Station, what ended up becoming Sony's Playstation when nintendo dropped the project) Nintendo never followed through till the GC simply because it didnt feel CD tech had gotten far enough to make seemless play, which it was truthful about, other than audio carts WHERE better graphically and eliminated loadtime.
This happened to mine 2 weeks ago (and I actually was one of the first to report the problem to MacInTouch and others. What seems to be the cause is heat and a series of batterys from Feb-March that cant take it. It also seems to ONLY be a cell of the battery, not all three.
The best course of action is if you see your not getting the maximum power out of the battery (it cuts out) take it out and take it back ASAP. Its likely in 1-2 weeks going to fail.
Because its a private organization that owns the creative content. We are not talking about the government here, a private buisness has all the rights in the world to refuse you if they wanted to. ITs not good buisness practice which is why you never see it, but be a teenager and go to a mall and get kicked out for doing nothing but take your case to court and guess what the judge will tell you? Stop wasting his time.
What seems to be the problem here, is this jaded hippy sense of everything belonging to everyone. I think the USSR proved comunisim doesnt work.
Really, you do. Infact Mr. Jobs has his gun pointing at your head right this minute. I cant hear him now, "BUY FROM iTUNES! DONT BUY A CD OR LISTEN TO THE RADIO"
I swear people get dumber and dumber the more consumerist we become.
thats basically it, SE doesnt go after the farmers since too easily they could accidentally get rid of a normal player who might be doing the same thing as a gilseller but not actually be a gilseller.
SE tags and goes after large dumping ground acounts that are used to actually give out the gil thats gotten. They also go after acounts who dupe gil.
No our new planes and ships not designed to use the cold war era nukes since they never previously figured into post-cold war planning. Most of the military figured that with the USSR out of the way there was little need to design future equipment to use nukes. While most of our current gen equipment could carry a nuke all of our future subs and planes will have a issue because they where built for carrying smaller more powerful conventional warheads. not the big mothers that the cold war era nukes where. Its actually the reverse of what happened with the B-52 and some of the bigger fighter bombers when they were built in the 60's - 70's (built for huge nukes, retrofitted to carry smaller conventional weapons.
what they didnt plan on was everyone and their brother thinking exactly like post WWII US in terms of having the bomb as a trump card.
Its a lot safer to destroy the former tech and build a brand new device than to retrofit the warheads into new lighter designs.

no he's a huge fucking russian tank. Again because the gun was unbelievable.

They dont seem too worried about that, so either its a microscopic amount, or it completely burns it all at the tip.
