Yes, quick searches rock. Useful ones include Google, Wikipedia, dictionary.com, IMDB, and so on. I also made one for New York Times articles without registration that helps a lot while browsing Slashdot and deciding to RTFA.
One person I know had his Windows crash beyond repair and decided to install Linux instead of reinstalling Windows yet again. The next day, the first thing he asks me is "How do I get Star Wars Galaxies working?" I told him he couldn't, and he went back to Windows the next day.
Avid game players use their computers mostly for playing games. If they can't do that in Linux, there's no point in switching to begin with. There's definitely no point in spending months to become adept enough to play the same games they were playing in Windows.
Umm...I wasn't being sarcastic. Sorry if I came off this way.
Mischief Makers is great. It, Starfox 64, and Super Mario 64 are the only reason I still have my N64. Hell, I got it back when it was pretty new, and I finally got the last gold gem last summer. (Then I found out I needed to get the REAL last gold gem by getting an A score on every stage...that's when I gave up.)
My new Debian 2.6 system uses GRUB and boots Windows XP fine. I can't speak for the distributions you mentioned, but it's definitely not in every 2.6/GRUB system.
...Warner Bros. is refusing to pay any more royalties whatsoever to anyone remotely related to the last two Matrix films, citing the "brand damage" clause in their contract.
Luis Martins and David Ying's graphical prowess are accompanied by a fully rearranged soundtrack! Be sure to check out the Chrono Trigger Resurrection media page for a sampling of Mathew Valente's fantastic musicianship.
The sample site is down, but all I have to say is that the new music better be really damn good if they're replacing Mitsuda.
I thought about making a post about Planescape: Torment, but it's been done already.
Then I thought about making a post about Xenogears, but remembered Disc 2. (For those who haven't played it, Xenogears has one of the greatest stories of all time, and some of the worst storytelling, especially on its second and final disc. I could describe how it's done, but I would have to copy their style.)
No. Well, maybe sort of yes, but they get fixed quickly, so it becomes no.
See that hole in the wall? That's where the stock market crashed!

"The GNAA are in full support of the broadcast flag."
"1) Remove the broadcast flag. 2) ??? 3) Profit."
"I wanted to post something on your blog about beowulf clusters, but couldn't think of anything."
"The FCC sucks."

Why should I use this? Internet Explorer is already at version 6. I've used both, but I must say that IE is really 4.3 better.
Ummm...strudel?
I haven't read the article, God forbid, but it probably means only left and right, or only up and down.

Oooh...another game by the developers of Mischief Makers. I'm excited.
No.

I am neither a jetpack or a blaster, you insensitive clod!

You use a text-to-speech program to read you the screen. "Hello Ogar, welcome to nethack. You are a lawful male human archaeologist. Hyphen, hyphen, more, hyphen, hyphen. Upper-left corner, horizontal line, horizontal line, horizontal line, horizontal line, horizontal line, horizontal line, horizontal line, upper-right corner. Plus, dot, dot, dot, dot, at, dee, dot, dot, dot, vertical line. Vertical line, dot, dot, dee, dot, dee..." Crap, I'm screwed.
Now if they would hurry the hell up and get Xenosaga Episode 2 out here, they might keep turning out profits like this.
You should play Xenogears, then. Same composer for the music, but much better storyline.

I was outraged to hear that funding was given to their wacky pseudo-science projects. Still nothing for my magnetic levitation air-hockey table.
the exam has been based on C++ (1 year) Is this true? The test was only in C++ for 1 year? Wow, I got really lucky taking it last year...
The next one is probably Lynx. It goes well with their new eMacs.

Is RO still just a beta? If so, that might be why. They'll probably make you buy the retail version.
