But this only works with radar. Laser works a bit different. Also never admit to doing anything wrong until they tell you what you did. If they just saw you flying and pull you over without clocking you and you say I was speeding they got you :p Although imo I agree with anonymous don't speed it's dumb. I realize it may get you there a bit faster and you think your safe thats fine it's the other idiots out there that you have to worry about. Isn't this already implemented in software in some form. As memory cache of sorts. I understand that with memory if you loose power you loose data so this just seems to act as a bridge. What happens if the power goes out and data has yet to be written but is in flash. Is what is in there automatically committed to the disk on the next power up? The article doesn't go into much detail unfortunately. It seems like a good idea if implemented properly but for me everytime I launch a new copy of explorer on a windows box it has to spin up the disk. So unless you keep the most frequently used applications in memory I'm not sure this will cut down on writing except for with small data files being saved.

competeting does not equal duplicating there stuff by reverse engineering. I can see where they come from. If you completely make a product from scratch using your own features then I see no problem with that. But if you need to reverse engineer it thats where the problem comes in. It's not really your own work at that point. It may be your code but it operates with their product. If they want to disallow this then I think they should be able to. They never said you couldn't develope your own competeting product if you were not using theirs. Solution: Don't use theirs if you don't like it. Make your own. No one forced you into using it. If you choose to work on the linux kernel then you chose to use bitkeeper. Branch the kernel if it really bugs you. Nothing will stop you.

Plus we would have one device to rule them all ^^. As for the n-gage well it just sucked, games and all. They played like crap and I couldn't see one good thing about the "system". It's just it's not for everyone. Plus I found out very fast that while anyone can program games that doesn't mean they are good at it. So a degree in something you aren't very good at well thats not worth much. I'm also curious outside the game industry if this degree would be applicable for other jobs. It's very hard to get in the game industry and stay in it. Like how do you fair in nongame industry cs jobs since it's a specific degree.. Or would oyu have to continue on with masters work for that..

If people went somewhere else then maybe things would change. It's all alot of talk but things never actually get done.
