You can group mutalisks together more tightly by having an overlord in the group with them. Without the overlord they tend to spread out quickly whenever they sit still. When they are packed together tightly their attack will bounce in the same direction together, unleashing a powerful 3-kill shot.

  3. Re:Try a few of these free games... on Netbook Return Rates Much Higher For Linux Than Windows · · Score: 1

But we're talking about netbooks here, they don't typically have 3D cards.

I just recently bought my first netbook, the HP mini-note from Thinkgeek. It came with Suse/Novell Enterprise Desktop Linux. It was terrible. It took 20 minutes to go through a setup procedure, and they wanted me to register my system's serial number to get access to security updates through Yast. It came with RealPlayer and Gaim (not Pidgin!) and no software to use the built-in webcam. The interface was a mess, it seemed like Suse/Novell wants to be selling Windows really bad. It's no wonder people don't like "Linux" when this is their first experience with it.

I feel relieved to be running Debian with a lighter (than gnome) window manager.

As an owner of a Cowon iAudio x5, YES! The stock firmware is absolutely horrible, I really lucked out on the rockbox support. 2 years later, I've filled up my x5's drive and am shopping for a replacement. I bought an older ipod just for the purpose of installing rockbox. Most of my music is in ogg vorbis and I've written a small program to automatically synchronize my music with a rockbox player. I never have to add or delete music again!

  5. Re:Finally! on Canonical Offers Sale of Proprietary Codecs for Ubuntu · · Score: 1

No that is really really really bad, you now have free Linux and pay Linux. The free Linux will bw see as crippleware and 10 years down half of a Linux system will be closed source paid apps with shinny DRM. This is a dangerous precedent.

Just like you opt to use Free Linux instead of proprietary Windows, you would opt to use Free Linux instead of proprietary Linux. Wouldn't that only make things better? I think proprietary Linux would interoperate with Free Linux better than Windows ever will. Also, Debian isn't going to disappear anytime soon.

As a contributor to Ubuntu Satanic Edition, I can tell you that you're wrong. I am a satanist. I submit to the dark overlord's rule, as he gives me abundant worldly pleasures. Why does Ladislav worry about this offending people? It's not a bad word and is another interesting distro to put on the list. Would people boycott his site for seeing Satanic Edition? Probably not, they'd instead send an angry email to the Satanic Edition maintainer.

  16. I watched the video. on Creationists Violating Copyright · · Score: 1

Their main argument is that the cell is an engine, just like a boat engine (which is designed). The cell has a tail (flagellum) that spins like a propeller to make the whole cell mobile. This propeller-tail needs gears and other parts for it to be operational. They argued that evolution favors working parts over non-working parts, and a complete and functional motor could not be useful until all the parts are there, therefore a cell could not have evolved.

Their other argument (I'm not making this up) is that you can tell just by looking at an object that it is intelligently designed. When you look at Mt. Rushmore, writing on a beach, and (sigh) life.

They had smart-looking people with impressive titles.
