Why? Play emulated stuff on your TV for cheap. No modchip needed. No NES/Genesis/etc cluttering up the apartment.
In regards to homebrew: think about how many awesome homebrew PC games there are (don't reply with a list unless it contains about 300 games). The DC homebrew scene is a fraction of the size of the PC scene, so I guess the number of excellent games rounds off to about zero.
Anyway, I have enjoyed the emulated games/ports for Dreamcast.
I did. They have changed the EULA since people were upset about the 'third party software' part. It doesn't seem as evil now, but I'm still so wary that I haven't installed it yet.
I totally agree. The fact that teacher says it's wrong makes piracy even more enticing!
I see a lot of 1984 comments but I wouldn't worry about that. We still live in a society where multiple points of view are allowed (for now) so as long as we support organizations like EFF, Down Hill Battle, etc. kids will be able to learn something.

Walt Whitman?
That sounds hilarious! I hope Batman does the "talk to the hand" thing! LOLOMGPSP
Agreed. I will be writing to the FCC.

It's a vital plot point in my screenplay.
You present a strong argument.
Damned affirmative action.
You can't download anything in Linux?
;)
Arr, the trailer ye link to be an olden one.
Say wha?
It's much much harder pretending to be a 15 year old girl with a webcam. I'm not saying it can't be done, but...
Windows... uh.. Graphics... Foundation!
Ha ha!
What?
Shit.
And more importantly: STOP dropping acid!
You have to download a mod for that.
Great, now even Slashdot's going all Portuguese.

You said you loved me! :(
There goes the last sliver of a chance of me getting any work done ever.
:)
Thanks

Here's the trick. Sign out and then sign back in. Went from 6MB to 100MB in seconds!
Of course he wouldn't let Spielberg direct! The end result would outshine all the other films. It would be "fucking brilliant."
(But not as brilliant as the 1978 Holiday Special, my personal favorite)
Same problems here... but Explorer Exposed! helps me quite a bit. Good listing of IE CSS bugs and work arounds.

So they bent the theremin?
:)
Well, it's theremin-esque simply due to it's portamento sine wave sound. So kinda-sorta would be my answer.
Actually the Beach Boys used a theremin-esque instrument where pitch was mechanically controlled.
this was going to be an article about tech-savvy girls.
Then I realized the headline wasn't 'Running From Geeks'
