    Just to add something to this comment: although I haven't tried purplera1n (jailbreaking) + ultrasn0w (unlocking) myself, as you would expect from something like this, there are still issues involving wifi disconnection. Proceed with caution!

    A Higgs Boson or a Higgs-like mechanism (e.g. a scalar field due to interactions between particles) is essential to maintain unitarity (i.e. sensible time-evolution). Something will be found at the LHC, whatever that might be.

    I disagree, you could not really know where something "is" at a given time because there is no such thing as simultaneity in Einstein's relativity. Simultaneity is just a false perception we have because the speed of light is much higher than the speeds we witness in everyday life. For further information on the subject I suggest considering light-cone diagrams.

    I believe the article refers to hibernation in the way some animals go into to get through winter, that is you will still age in this kind of hibernation, whereas in "Alien" the hibernation was sort of putting the person in the freezer.
