like the head on a stick at the end of doom 2, maybe hl2 devs will have a chance to torture and skin the naked thieves where we'll be able to test out some source engine and beat their ass with a nice non-pixely stick
I had a sega channel, I cherished it for as long as I could. If I could I'd still be paying for it. You got what seemed like hundreds of new games each month complete with different themed browsers. Games were nicely catagorized into genres and there were even help forums, stratdgy and tips and news. A perfect example of what a p2p could be like. I would have TRULY never of had the chance to try (and many times) buy games I'd otherwise dismiss, Gainground/Gain Ground is one great example for those who have probably never heard of it. Plenty of rare and low profile games were always in there.
Sega and even Sammy's own individual logos looked much more appealing.
If I didn't know better I'd guess that it was the logo of some random manufacturer or rice cookers or appliances.
Their old logos just had that coolness, and white and blue go with almost anything... Now they're Luigi colored...
Sorry, I should of been more clear. I meant a better animation of an ANIME character in a VIDEOGAME. Not saying that DBZ animations suck. But that These guys can do a 3d videogame model of chrono better then any DB game can do a 3D version of a 2D DB character from the cartoon.
Yet there have been dozens of DBZ game attempts, and none of them have come close to this. This truly looks like how an anime style game should look like. No more simply cell shading or having 2D pictures that always face the camera, those shots of chrono's head look better then a pair of implants fresh from Pamela Anderson's last cosmetic maitnence appointment
Damnet... I thought this was another crazy headline saying Gain Ground from Sega Genesis was gonna be a remake on xbox http://www.retrogames.co.uk/stock/assets/images/Ge nesis_-_Gain_Ground.jpg
Tom's review was the first I saw of the 172x, saying it was absolutely horrible for gaming for some reason, they explained how response ms is just the time to go from totally black and white, and proved that that speed doesen't correlate with speed of changing between other colors. Though I did hear a rumor that Tom's received a different version, I'v still sometimes heard references to the "terrible attempt" on more recent articles. Anyone have any answeres on why our trusty tom's hardware's review is so much different from these other recent reviews?
For instance there's an AT&T mlife commercial where a father slides a phone under his daughter's door and there's a song in the backround. If you contact AT&T, and actually get a reply, all they'll tell you will be something around, "That particular song was created especially for that commercial". No song name, no Author. Try searching it, I dare you all!
AOL cd's on paper?!?!?! My gawd the power they would have! THE MASSES THEY WOULD CREATE!
But I bet they'd be much easier to burn (No sick pun intended)
"Duh. Could that have anything to do with there are 2.2 times more people in the US than Japan? (290 million vs 127 million, source [cia.gov])."
Yknow they probably buy more NTT docomo cell phones in japan then in america, and I'm pretty sure it doesen't have much to do with population.
Actually I found that it was quite difficult to find parties at first for lack of a global or non-proximity chat, which is very helpful for socialization, would that be a spam problem with this sudden wave of noobs with the new releases? nah, just have the ability to turn channels off.
Loser sub culture? I don't know about you, but I can safely say that atleast 12 out of every 13 guy's at my highschool's interested atleast a little bit in videogames. Almost any of them would probably give you a blank stare if they tried to start a conversation about Vice City and you had no idea what they were talking about. By no means even 25% of them have much gaming knowledge other then what their local blockbuster advertises, they're hardcore mainstream consumers. Having a console in a house with kids is practically as usual as a TV in any home, standard in the average american home. Even alot of girls have a ps2 in the house who don't have brothers, maybe not GC or Xbox since they're not as "consumery". Alot of regular girls seem to like to keep one around in hopes of improving the guy magnet factor of their house, or have played one game at friend's house and immediatley decide they WILL have it... strangely the most common game products I see around their houses are racing games like gran turismo and usually or planning to get a dvd kit. Yeah, try taking a survey of people who have purchased a console or pc game in the last 2 years next time you get a statistics assignment in Algebra. And Mindless? Nah, gamers are definetly problem solvers, can't shutup after they find a good game, and I'm pretty sure it's more stimulating for the mind then spotting that pre-algebra failing super senior in weight training tha.
"Some of the types of people you need to make happy include... Happily married businessman, whose company is about to go bankrupt... A child whose father is a slob, and whose mother comes home late at night drunk... Bar club hostess, who gets paid to listen to rich Japanese businessmen talk"
The other 90% of the population will consist of teenagers.
Only part of the innocent disguise to fool you while he sneaks up behind you while you're trashing him on slashdot while he snaps your... (CRACK) "You're next, identity0..."
And the Autobots will rule
The answer is 42

X-com came from a land very much long before the xbox

Eventually it will be at the extent that we'll be jacking off to magenfied shots of pores without knowing it.
They tried, but the only monsters they succeded in making were... THEMSELVES

PIU has had a few major recent release updates to the series, try searching for prex 3 or exceed
In fact it'll eventually get through your pores and tan your brain
Also there was a Slashdot story about EA giving USC some huge funding recently

Because in Soviet Russia...
"The game is basically a GTA gone online" maybe in a future paatch you'll be able to "confiscate" vehicles
