  8. Little UI gotchas like this seem to be purposeful. Diablo 3 has a nice little feature where if you're not accurate you can delete your inventory. BTW inventory in Diablo is worth real money. Oops you deleted your project? should have used OneDrive!

    Why would they even do this? Has the security situation gotten to the point where their hand is being forced or do they simply want to abandon their technical debt in the same manner that any industrial operation wishes to abandon their industrial waste, into the commons?

  13. How do you figure? Is there any information available on Netflix getting priority? My understanding is that they are able to deliver HD content thanks to their network of AWS hosts and CDN hosts.

    Seconding this. The 640 was or is a great value smart phone. It's literally saved me hundreds in data fees in the less than year that I've had it.

  24. It's fucking stupid. It's rarely needed function that is rarely used. IT'S STILL NEEDED. Clearing cookies is rarely needed as well, but they're not going to remove that (yet, I'm sure they'll say something like "keep your cookies in the cloud")

    I'm sure the real reasoning behind this is to pad their usage stats. Chrome users spend 25% more time on your website and spend $fake_dollars more!
