Yeah, I was just thinking about that. I remember EB games shipping me the original Xbox on release day and the games also arrived on release day that I subsequently order.
On the other hand, who really MUST have a game on release day? Get a life, really.
Have a large table at each check-in point. Have each person coming in lay all their equipment on the table and take a high-angle picture of the table that gets a good look at everything and have the person in the picture.
When they leave, repeat the procedure and compare the photos. It would be ideal if you can print out a copy of the photo on 8.5x11 and have that filed in alfa order.
To further ease this, if you could get a large scale to put the table on, you can write the total weight of all of their possessions and when they check out, the weights not matching would be an indicator that something is amiss.
Hey - sorry, I have a question. I was around when the blueprints were distributed through a lottery system (you had to rent labs.) How are they distributed now?
What happens is that the Federal Government makes it really easy for employees to donate to charities of their choice by checking a box on their payroll forms each year. There are several hundred funding choices, including Catholic Charities, Muslim charities, and all kinds of private organizations.
Essentially, some congressman thought it would be nice to facilitate giving among the massive and federally bloated work force, but it is entirely the employees choice and is no different than them giving the money directly.
The government doesn't fund them. This whole discussion is premised on a LIE.
And yes, they get to use government facilities just like any other private group can, and can hold exclusive parades on public streets, just like the homos have a right to (I think Slashdot sponsors a float?)
Your fallacy is that you think that this example of MS's bad decision is indicative of MBA's being bad decision makers.
Are you telling me that Intel, AMD, ATI, NV, etc. have never released a flawed chip?
Were the people at MS who made the chip really incompetent - or did MS just hire them from another ASIC company? There is no guarantee this wouldn't have happened if they did go to a ASIC.
"And one thing unique about AC is that you could play on one server at the same time another member of your family played on another server using the same account"
Are you SURE about that? Or was that a patch that was done after I left?
I'd like to go back but apparently they will only let me have my mega high level account back if I can remember the CC number I used to create it in 1999.
The governor of the state has tremendous influence over the industry of not just developers but publishers and distributors. The Governor is also the highest profile individual they could get, so combine those two factors and it is an easy choice.
I look more like a 400 runner than he does and I've never touched a PED. Just look at his BF. You don't need a PED to get under 8 or so and he isn't there - you'd think the desire to get into the Olys would be enough to motivate you to do so.
Further, the olympic athletes these days, especially in the US, regularly undergo strict, random screening. An associate of mine was competing for a US slot and the officials once randomly showed up with this person was teaching a class I was in to take a sample.
Further, he isn't actually paying for the cost of those legs and even if he was, they would dwarf the cost of PEDs, which are relatively cheap.
This is hardly scientific but I've also noticed that - just looking at him - he has a higher BF% and isn't nearly as defined, muscularly - as the other athletes in that event.

The problem is that it makes the levels you gain and the equipment you obtain meaningless to your success in the game.
I'd also add this is a good way to make sure people aren't forgetting their stuff on the way out.

Look, I'm sorry your decision to major in English hasn't worked out for you but... hmm, no, I'm not really sorry at all. F-off, commie.
It doesn't matter; soon the Sats will be able to see right into your yard.
Besides, you DO have privacy for all but 1 second every few years.
Look into it.
yeah, I *loved* that game but, unfortunately, it required a player base.
Then what was Oblivion?
When you pry it from my cold, dead hands...
It's not different with a debit card. The same rules and protections (from Visa) apply.
Your post and the parent are probably the most lucid I've seen.
Your simile is a huge, huge stretch.

Success in the WoD is determined not by a complete absence of the banned substances but by the ever-increasing costs of it.
Are you SURE about that? Or was that a patch that was done after I left?

I do not recall such a large portion of the population being into PvP.... Maybe DT would be affected.

However, the appeal of this kind of programming is that it costs almost no money.

It's worth pointing out that the government monitors these conversations for real reasons. Maybe you've heard of Lynne Stewart.
