My pronunciation is pretty good, because I spoke arabic when I was a little kid. now I don't know alot any more (besides cursing obviously).
I think it's funny how it's difficult to insult someone directly. You always end up cursing his/her family.
This one always comes up and it makes me wonder if anybody measured how long it would take to read that "747/station wagon/fed ex truck" loaded with "$mediaofchoice" back in the system they're carrying it to. Would it still be faster than? How long does it take to read that many CDs anyway? Or do by "$mediaofchoice" they mean one really large harddrive?
I mean, come on! These are the kinds of questions we want answered!
'Reverend', when used before someone's name, does not imply any particular position in a church. There is really no such thing as 'a reverend'. The adjective is used by people such as ministers and priests, to show that they are revered members of their community. So the question really is, does anybody really revere The Rev. Brendan Powell Smith?
Admitting gives him street credit. Might be as easy as that. But while I don't know wether it was him or there is some huge-ass conspiracy going on, I always wonder why 9/11 is not on his Wanted Ad.
There's a picture here.
And why didn't they make it like the "real" hand phone, where you listen to your thumb and speak into your pinky? That would have been cool! Like this it just looks stupid.
The first thing I thought, was to put it in a vacuum cleaner. Along with a surface scan, and some kind of radar to detect immediate danger (like pets, kids) this should make it pretty easy for it to navigate.
Let's take that example to the extreme and pretend that these kids are tracked _all_ public places they go to ('cause, ya know, bad things can happen _anywhere_). Sounds like privacy invasion yet? No? Apply the same example to yourself. I'd be extremely concerned if someone knew about my whereabouts everytime I move in public.
Assuming you're not being ironic...
No one 'deserves' to die, that's just your opinion. To some people US soldiers 'deserve' to die. Not that I'd like that, but the people who do, think themselves just as right as you. just because you _think_ it's right to kill, doesn't _make_ it right.
Think of that next time you're having 'fun'.
The link to the list shows that Time Warner Cable is first runner up with 148 subpoenaes. So that can't be it then. But isn't it that most AOL accounts are dialup? Thougt I read something like that somewhere...
It is possible to disable autorun in Windows 9x,the setting is very well hidden,
I'm pretty sure you just open the hardware properties dialog for the drie in question and disable it in there somewhere. Can't remember the exact name of the checkbox, but I'd take any bet.
That's exactly what I was thinking! Imagine having to explain that to a person that he'll have to pay a fine if he's on the internet (the IE Icon) and doesn't make sure his windows update (insert 2 hour explanation here) and virus software ("you know the 'messages', right? From where you get all that jokes? Well sometimes[...]" *DieOfExhaustion*) aren't up-tp-date.
That made me laugh out loud *g* I didn't read my comment from that perspective. Damnit now everyone will think I'm gay! And I even used the preview button.
If they are the only ones doing business with them, doesn't that constitute as the hands that feed them?
aktually in German a 'Trottle' is someone slow in understanding, so a throtteled CPU, which is slower, might as well be called "trottled".
English became so German to me right now.
and also goatse.cx is down atm. Some registration issue.
yeah... I know. Don't say anything.

Doesn't really go well with the subject

check out the last question on the faq :
9. Is he really a reverend?

all the evil hackers
That's why he put the word rules in quotation marks. To show that these are in fact not rules, just that some call them that.
I heard about people reffering to IE as 'the internet', but this is the first time someone says 'net access' when what he means is slashdot...

They already did the scanning. Now the only need to match it with pictures which I'm sure are available as well.

honest question: what else is it?

you need to look at the other URL. I didn't get why he posted two URLs, but he is actually correct. :-)

no they haven't, there's this thing called 'slashcode' ;-). You have to remove the spaces in the URL.
That's actually how I read it, and I believed that was the tile until you pointed out it wasn't.
Thanks for popping my bubble, meanie!
