well i have a problem with microsofts plan. they want everyone to implement their own version of the same console (like a pc), but they forgot that the console is the part no one wants to do. with the current xbox and im sure future xboxes, they will be expensive to make and probably expensive to sell. most people out there will buy the cheapest one (since if they are built to spec they all should be able to play the games). and besides that even the cheapest one will be really expensive compared to game consoles today because it will need to be sold at a profit to make it worthwhile.

I used to think that only computer novices got spyware. But just this past week i got several all at one time. i have no idea how it happened ( i dont even use internet explorer) but it was bad. after i run ad-aware and mcaffee to clean them off, one of them deleted some important files under my system folder, or at least thats what i assume because my tcp/ip wouldnt start. i ended up having to totally reinstall windows. ive since decided im going to try and use windows as little as possible, only when i need to work in photoshop or office (i have the newest versions, ie no crossover office). but beware even advanced windows users can still get these things.

What's the blizzard route, create one or two good games and then spend the rest of eternity rehashing them?

how about coming up with great new ideas, thinking them through, and when they are ready releasing them. Blizzard has a huge devoted fan following because all of their games (minus one or two) have been really good. not only that but people buy their games knowing that they will have a long life span. just the other day Blizzard released an update to Starcraft, a game released in i think 97. i end up always buying their games because they have alot of replay value (battle.net) and arent repetitive (like many FPS)

i wasnt planning on wearing something all day, just when i went to a party or hung out with friends. and i relize most pictures would be worthless, so what, you just delete them. no big deal. and the camera doesnt have to be digital if you dont want it to be, you can change the film every few minutes, most people just dont want to do that.

This startup about 6 months ago was offering free food from several locations in my area. but you were only offered one per person. so you had to create a fake account, with fake information, and try and get them to send it to you again. we ended up getting a ton of free food over the week this was happening. but it was only good for that week. if you are wondering what site it was, it was campusfood.com. the only place you can get free food online is when a startup has a ton of vc cash and are stupid enough to give it away in an offer like that.

I suppose the only thing you can really control is the marketing and promotion of online gambling within the US. That's probbably even within the limits of free trade, since advertisements aren't really trade, per se.

i often think that banning something or stopping altogether makes it look somehow exotic. for instance teenage drinking. do teenagers drink soley because they want to get drunk, or is the fact that only adults are allowed to drink, and the fact that teenagers want to look and act like adults, have something to do with it. I dont like gambling at all, but i worry if its banned then things will be pushed 'underground' where since the law is already being broken, people arent afraid to break other laws. people will gamble whether you let them or not
