Who's fault is that? Sony for sticking with a design thats comfortable for a lot of their users, or the game maker who knew what the controller was going to be like and still made the game so that it didn't work well with it.
What's wrong with that? It's comfortable for a lot of people, and all the buttons are within easy reach. I personally really like the Playstation controller. Why does the controller have to be redesigned with every console release?
a second was defined as the duration of 9,192,631,770 cycles of microwave light absorbed or emitted by the hyperfine transition of cesium-133 atoms in their ground state undisturbed by external fields.
Well of course, I mean, what took them so long? Seriously though it's things like this that make me ask, what on earth lead them to define it like that? Its not 9 million cycles, not 9.5 million, not an obvious number of cycles at all. How did 9,192,631,770 cycles become it, not 9,192,631,771, thats too long, not 9,192,631,769 thats too short. Only 9,192,631,770 was good enough.
How is not providing the source to a driver 'not wanting you're business.' Does Red Hat not want your business because there are things in RHEL that you can not distribute?
How can the myriad of users police and enforce the GPL when most of them do not understand it. Like in this case, I don't see any infraction and I suspect the claim of a GPL violation was made by someone who believes binary drivers are morally wrong and this was the only way they could think of to force their view on those who might do it.
Not really a bad try since the GPL exists to force others views on what is and is not right but since the GPL does allow this whomever made the claim is wrong.
So you mean nothing would change. Few small business owners get out of being classified as middle class, or make more money (that's usable by them) then someone in a job at a large company.
Yet when MS, Oracle or Cisco ask that security researchers hold back found flaws until they can fix them Slashdot gets all up in arms about them trying to stifle researchers.
I guess Apple is still small enough that they can do no wrong.
I buy game consoles for one game series only, and that means I buy Playstations right now. Thankfully the first one on the PS3 should come out after prices start to fall.
Expect 2 hour waits for parties, frequently. Expect not to be able to talk to your party, as 1/3 or more won't speak english. Expect to be kicked form groups if you haven't bought gil or spent rl days grinding it for the top gear (and thats impossible if you don't pick a melee class. Grinding as a bard hurts). Expect to do nothing but grinding for gil or levels 99% of your gameplay.
Expect that the above poster is full of it and most probably a fan of some other game and believes there can be only one. Nothing they said was correct.
That said, I don't really understand this title's release for the 360. In essence, this game was only released on the console so that Microsoft could check off a box for the MMOG genre in its launch window library
In a lot of ways it is but who cares. I've played with people on the 360 who first played FFXI for the first time during the free beta and picked up the final retail, I've played with people who picked up the 360 version because they didn't want to wait for their PS2 to die and I've played with people who played it on the PC and like being able to sit on their couch and relax while playing. It's a game and as long as people keep finding it fun they'll play it on what ever platform suits them. Who cares why MS asked SE to port it over.
Besides, I have a feeling MS is trying to do the same thing Sony did when they launched the Playstation and got Square to release FFVII on it instead of the N64.
No one buys a console because of the power of the hardware, they buy it for the games that are on it. Therefore the PS3 will be sold to those who play games that will be exclusive to the PS3.
No, it can't. An inferior version of your job can be done. Some employers will go that route. Some won't. Woe betide those who pick the wrong one.
You're just a man, and another man can do the job just as well as you can. Where you're from or where you live does not mean you can do a better or worse job then someone who is from or lives elsewhere. Continue thinking you're all that and you'll find that someone is going to come along who will be quite happy to show you your not as special or indispensable as you think you are.
console RPG series that has had more than 2 games where the games actually are sequels: The Arc the Lad, Lunar, and Ys Just to add one, Xenosaga has 3 parts or it will do once the 3rd is released.
They themselves said they only bought one. I would be more inclined to believe they did not know X-2 was an actual sequel as opposed to the way every other FF has worked. It was named X-2 because there already was an 11 (released) and 12 (in development) as it was being created. You couldn't really have 2 FF11's could you.
X-2 was a direct sequel to X. It had Yuna and Rikku with another new main character. Many of the characters that were in X were secondary characters in X-2. It takes place about 1 year after the defeat of Sin.
Actually I don't have a cell that has SMS, nor do I have a gmail account. I intend to never have either, though you could change my mind about SMS.
That would actually be a fantastic idea.
Did you actually think it wouldn't happen? The first batch of movies are on their way.
This idea is as lame as FDR's legs.

Or you could, you know, not use media player on Windows.

I'm not saying it worked.

Even at $500 or $600 a PS3 will be the best gaming platform that I could buy
If you want to play Halo 3 or SSB3 it's not. It's only a good buy if it has games you want.

It's crapping out on Konqueror (3.5.2) as well. Cool screenshot
That said all 3 were very nice designs. I'd hate to be the person picking out a winner.
having to lift and drop the LISA on occasion
Hang on there. Do what to Lisa?
Same reason you plop down money for Live Gold membership. Eventually you will have to as just about any online PC game will use Live.
Yes, that is what will happen.
Tell them to go to hell.
A man can dream can't he?
