Time for the governements to start working on a whole new concept of traffic infrastructure. Air highway systems, signals, etc. I assume it will be low altitude not to interfere with airways, but it's finally time I guess we seriously started planning all this since it's inevitable.
This will be interesting to see how it plays out. I mean you know people that own land will be like... "you're not allowing those things to fly right over MY land!" because they probably won't fly right over the normal highway systems for safety reasons.
With all the other micro and even nano-mechanical devices out now... am I the only one not impressed at all? There is nothing original at all about this device: technology, design, implementation, etc.
Maybe it's just me but this technology seems kinda dated at this point. Unless they make that thing the size of a dime or at least a quarter I'll just go back to my game of solitaire thank you very much.;)
This is about the most intelligent thing I have ever seen posted! I don't know why anyone hasn't ever mentioned this before!
Of course, every time they come out with new updates, just post the updated ISO! Because the second the one they ship out gets to you it's already well out of date.
Time to start really pushing Microsoft for this!...but of course a week later you'll start seeing the hacked version floating around that wipe your OS or add every known virus available.;) Always get it right from MS if it ever comes to be.
Yeah, you're not even suppose to have your dome light on at night while driving... I'm sure this won't be a distraction at all. *rolling eyes*
And you think females on the phone driving in the left lane is bad now?! wait until they start having to play with their auto-emotion settings while driving! It will never make it into a production street-legal car.
Funny how just the exact opposite was true just 5 years ago when all I could fine in schools was a fricken MAC because they gave them to schools cheap and sometimes free.
MAC was no different, in fact they were first. Apple wanted a childs first experience to be an Apple. So what happened? Everyone got tired of them not being compatible with the rest of the world and also realized they were just as unstable.
Is it just me or is this just an overpriced step backwards in technology?! Where's the holographic keyboard that was promised to come out soon?
No thank you. If you can't remember to put the little stylus back into the perfectly made hole for it... then you shouldn't own one anyway. "Here's your sign."
I'm somewhat scepticle about the whole powerlines cause cancer thing... but if that's true, what will running the power right through us do?
We'll see...I'd like to see the long term affect of running higher powered devices thorugh the body. And would we create a person magnetic field? You think static is bad in the winter now?!!...;)
Ah, yeah, that would make more sense then. The K5 was the only crap chip line AMD ever made cuz it was inbetween their 486 line (which was basically the same since they helped develope the real 486 for Intel) and when they totally revamped for their killer K6.
Um... HUH?? The K6-2 and especially later the K6-3 ran RINGS around the same speed Pentium and P-II chips of the day?! What the heck are you talking about?!
First reality TV.. then BLOGS... next are blogs of blogs!
Today I made yet another entry to my BLOG. It was an especially interesting post since I was unusually candid today specifically in regards to my feelings on pudding skins--"useful or nuisance?"...
Blogs are about as interesting as a web site done by a guy in a trailor park... except they don't even have the really cool pictures of "stuff you can be duct tape".:(
...and support them. Nuff said, Microsoft wins hands down. And trust me we looked at the cost. If you go with a Pressed Cd solution (Star Office, etc.) it ends up still being much cheaper in the long run for Microsoft.
Dang it Bill!! Stop making robust products with over a decade of maturity!;)
Yeah...and how'd that work out for the people that sued "the group" of major hard drive manufacturers for playing on consumers ignorance about HD size?! Big Business won that one too... they always will...they have more money. The irony being that your money goes to them to help them fight you back... so they can take more of your money.
Hey, I'm a lemming too cuz I keep giving them my money and always will.
Very good post! Not of troll/flame quality whatsoever.
I like anime as much as the next guy, but I too don't get the whole near-religious following that some anime inspires. I mean yes it's got good content, beautiful animation and sometimes pretty indepth plots. But any good movie should and I don't put anime higher than any other good scifi movie out there.
I do blieve it is eye candy, but it's eye candy with a purpose and some thought. I mean isn't that what all well-done scifi is about--a good plot set to eye candy?
I personally kind of liked the Guyver series, but it was nothing special really, I just liked it.
I never even saw GitS but I must admit this Appleseed preview is quite stunning and very detailed. I will definitely check it out for the "eye candy"--but should a healthy plot exist I won't mind that too bad either.;)
No, that was the first time the OS supported it natively--i.e. install two video cards and the OS could differentiate.
Dual monitor support through single cards have been around for years from Matrox, Hercules, Canipus?, etc. It was all drivers not OS though, hence lack of real support for games unless specifically written.
There was a version of Quake 1 floating around that supported up to 3 montiors I think.
It's funny how people making these kinds of bold comments never sign in. You anonymous coward you.;)
An no sir he was not overreacting! I took this guys post in exactly the same way... just because the technology existed means absolutely nothing! The PC world had that back in the 80's too... so what. The point is that we are finally at a point where mainstream video and game makers are finally collectively supporting this and the hardware is now afordable to aid the affore mentioned even further.
1.6?!! I THOUGHT THE RATIO WAS 9 TO 4?!

Man where have I been... I guess I have to get this book now. I always thought it was 9:4 or 21/4 to 1. *shrug*
Yeah the initial ones were pretty crappy... but once the GT with the V6 came out things drastically changed. I have an '87 GT with over 146k miles and it runs fine. Starting with '86+ models and especially the V6 models it was a very good car, especially compared to the standards of that day. It was a poor man's euro sports car and for the money pulled that off quite nicely.
It was just WAY ahead of it's time. concept drawing for a newer version done back in the early 90's look VERY similar to the Honda S2000. If they made a Fiero now with the same concepts in mind (cheap, reliable performance in a small mid-engine package) it will sell big in this rice-happy market.
I wondered how much longer it would be...

Now THAT is funny my friend ;)
Don't know why you haven't got a mod 5 Funny yet ;)

Why is this even on here?! Who gives a crap?!
And Tarbox DOES now own the domain...so who gives a rip?!
You know how much of this goes on in a single day out there?

This post made ZERO sense whatsoever.
If I got an e-mail with this exact text my spam filter would have caught it in a heartbeat. ;p

Well, gee so it didn't overclock (which btw I got 550 out of my 450 *shrug*)... but to say it was a "God aweful CPU" is really ignorant!
but that's just me.

...and would you really want to brag that you have a MAC in your car?! Would even want to brag that you're a MAC user at all? ;)
