If your a serious gamer then you have to run windows, no debate about that. But iMacs do have 3d games. I have call of duty 2 and gta vice city. Call of duty 4 comes out next month. Wherever you got your information its wrong. Macs do have 3d graphics cards, and 3d games.

Ive remember hearing stories about this car growing up. It was really neat watching Ms. Belvedere (thats what we call her) finally come out of the ground. It was a little disappointing to see her rusted out, but it gives her character. They took guesses at what the population would be in 2007, and the very first guess was 388,000, and the population figure they are using is 380,000. That was one hell of a guess. Whoever guesses closest wins the car. I hope they give it to a museum. She belongs to all of Tulsa. Take that Oklahoma City!!!

Windows writing to ext2 scares the hell out of me. I mount them all read only.

Rebooting your system should be a part of maintenance. After 550 days, Im surprised it just came back up. What about start up scripts that fail? Corrupted files? I had 4 months uptime on my firewall, dsl went down for a few hours, came back up and it wouldnt connect. Couldnt figure out why. During the uptime I had recompiled my modules, and for whatever reason the module for dsl side nic wasnt compiled in. DSL went down, kernel unloaded it, and when it tried again, the module wasnt available. I was on dialup for 4 days because of that. Had I done a scheduled reboot, I would have caught that a lot sooner. Long uptimes are cool and all, but reboots need to be done for system stability.
