If the point is to allow the motherboard to support two different processors, why not have different daughterboards for each processor instead of having one on board and one off board?
Franklin sold the Rex form factor to Xircom who sold out to Intel. Intel discontinued production of the Rex PDA almost immediately. This pda was the size of a PC card and would be the perfect form factor for a PDA. I believe people would buy more PDAs if they weren't so damn huge (and expensive).
I jog with a second generation ipod in an arm band all the time. Occationally, if I'm running and hitting fast forward it will hang. As long as it can keep the buffer full, you should be fine. Since the ipod mini is a smaller device, it should be more secure than a full size ipod.
YDL, or any other PPC linux distro does not support, Airport Extreme, built in bluetooth or the new ATI mobile cards as of yet. There is also no default support for the G4 processor scaling. Linux runs the G4 at reduced speeds by default.
It's sad really. A few years ago, I thought YDL was very robust. Now, as OS X has become more mature, YDL looks a little lost.
Had they included an SATA controller ononboard they might have been able to make it even smaller. You can theoretically attatch a SATA to ATA converter for use with a CD-Rom right?
Someone please tell me where the AMERICAN CIVIL LIBERTIES UNION is? Are they too busy defending athiests and minorities to realize that ALL of the American's Civil Liberties are disappearing. What happened to privacy? Right to assemble? Freedom of Speech?
Microsoft thinks DRM is the answer to their problems? People are going to upgrade to this? Lets get real here. If a business upgrades to the next version of office with DRM but their clients do not, the clients cannot read memos and other documents sent by the business. The clients then get pissed off and go elsewhere.
A week ago, we found out that most tech jobs are being outsourced to India and other countries. While there is still a educated poor workforce in another country, the use of machines is not going to be that big of a threat. These Kiosks will only help companies use their work force to focus on customer service (ever found anyone to help you at Walmart?). If the general work force is depleted, perhaps more people will become Police officers and teachers. Maybe it will force our children to work harder in school.
The DOJ couldn't beat microsoft at their own game what makes e-pass think they can? The only thing that is even remotely like this patent is the Xircom Rex which was killed, now the company is owned by Intel.
Wow, I never thought of it that way. I voted for Bush... now I'm starting to second guess myself. This whole plan Microsoft has is all coming together. They lobby the US government dirty so that no department will even think about OSS. They use SCO to jack up vaporware royalties for Unix until all those customers jump ship. World domination is not much farther after that. I'd like to think that the Open source community is strong enough to survive this but I don't know. Maybe I'll be voting democrat next election. But can we really trust them either? I mean, these people get money, sex, drugs whatever they want just for votes. Does it really matter what club you belong to?
Everyone knew this one was going to be bad. You can always tell a good movie from a bad movie, not from the critics, but from the ads themselves. A good movie will have "BEST PICTURE OF THE YEAR" and "FANTASTIC" by people from the New York Times and USAToday. A bad movie will have those same statements from welovejlo.com and moviesarecool.net I really don't have to text message anyone to find that out.
This could possibly lead to more false positives than now. Say you try to help a stab victim. If you touch the person your DNA will be on them and it's possible that you could be implicated for the murder.
Microsoft is going two ways with this. You can subscribe to their update service or pay a higher upgrade fee. That being said, Microsoft could purposely code flaws into Windows in order to make more money and keep people paying for updates.
Honestly, PC's at one point had Apple begging for scraps at the dinner table like a dog. However biased you are, Apple will not just disappear into the good night.
First off, 900 MHz Centrino isn't going to beat the 867 G4 considering that the G4 competes quite well with the intel mobile market. DVD-R? No. Up to 1152 MB memory? Think again. 60 GB hard drive? HA. Any OS besides windows... Dream On.
So what about this Powerbook Killer? I would look at it and say... "oh it's a Sony" and then look at something else.
Latest stats say that only around 45% of American Citizens of voting age actually vote. Although lack of security on windows begs for party fraud, I think we're missing an even bigger problem. If a foreign country were to get all the information from even 5% out of the 55% that doesn't vote, they could swing the election to the candidate of their choice.
These numbers are misleading because it doesn't say exactly what states aren't voting but it's a possibility.
Boy are you wrong! You remember this thing, maybe you've heard of it... THE MOUSE??!?!?
Try this one.... FIREWIRE!!!!
OOh and.... THE PDA!!!
Just to name a few....

Does this mean I'm going to get arrested for TiVOing stolen cable?

Hey retard... I'm talking about what's going on with our privacy rights on the internet! This is a little more important than the right to protest.

Harriers.... you mean dead bugs? The things they can't stick conventional pilots on because they end up flipping over and crashing?

Yeah, raising taxes in Sim City definitely doesn't generate more revenue, especially when you're already in the hole.
I admit I felt a bit pried upon walking down ybor with all those cameras... Will I go back? Probably not.

How do you tax the taxman? These guys are going to die, fast. Homeland security needs to get on these terrorists.
Just take over a large TV network and post the source code "Antitrust" style.

What people really need is more than 1 Mbps, not less.

I meant an onboard DVD-R And did you miss the post about not being able to find drivers for Sony laptops? Oh you didn't? How about performance?
