I've found some roads in Quebec that you can just drive down and it'll lead you straight into Maine. I actually took one once, by accident. I was lost and found a road, so we drove down it and came out in New Brunswick. We actually had no idea we'd crossed the border at first until we realized we were in New Brunswick. After consulting the map, we figured the only way that we'd gone so far in so short a time would be if we'd gone through Maine. We were never stopped or questioned once. Dangerous, to say the least.
I had to call 911 a few times in the past few years, and every single time I've had nothing but trouble from them. One time when I witnessed a car accident and stayed to help, I called 911 because a woman at the scene had trouble getting out of her car (the door wouldn't open and her legs were pinned). The 911 operator *wouldn't believe* that she needed help and refused to send more than one police car. Luckily he came quickly and called for the proper help. Another time I had to call, I was transfered to the wrong emergency service. I needed the police, but was sent to the fire dept. While the fire operator was talking, the 911 operator interrupted the call and transfered me to the EMS! Again, interrupted and finally I got the police. Other times I've had operators who were rude and unhelpful. So Vonage's 911 seems to be at par with the poor level of service given by the other 911 services.
I bought an item from probably the same seller. Exactly the same kind of tactics. It was an L-Shaped glass desk. And I had the same experience. I paid immediately, which included the atrociously high shipping cost. Later that day I noticed that the money had been refunded with a note saying 'out of stock' or something to that effect. Yet they still have that same item listed a dozen times. They'll only actually sell it to the customer if it goes for a certain price, is my guess.
Though I'm very psyched that they're making another Indiana Jones movie, I'm disappointed to see that they're trying to get Harrison Ford to reprise his role. He's just too old, and I feel that they could have brought new life to the Indiana Jones franchise with a new actor. Though I haven't read the script; perhaps they've accomodated for his age??
Actually, many ATM systems use OS/2 2.1 for some reason. These are machines that are built today, but use old operating systems because their GUI is old, I imagine.
He accomplished what the X-Prize was meant for. All criticisms aside, he won the prize fair and square. I hope his team makes good use of their design in the future.
Yes I loaded the page in MSIE 6 and in Firefox 0.9.2 and it loaded properly on MSIE but the navigation text was too small on Firefox. More anti-Firefox BS from Microsoft???
Hah, you much live close to me (toon town). I'm gonna be there, too! See you there. Man I hope he doesn't crash. I'm all for rooting for the little guy and all, but the circumstances surrounding this launch just don't add up to 'safe'.
If you'll notice, there are already problems with the site. It has the same story posted twice, and that has happened with more than one story already!
Don't most web hosting companies offer discounts if their servers crash? Dunno if that would count in this case though, since the servers crashed specifically because of the bandwidth....

Steve Martin gets mashed against the windshield when his powered seat breaks because John Candy was playing with the controls all day.
Yea, but next thing you know you'll see a robot transporting what it thinks to be an injured soldier, which is actually a suicide bomber faking it, right into the middle of the base. And then, of course, there's skynet to think about......
YEA! Then you get to see Warwick Davis as Wicket! Warwick Davis, if you don't already know, also played Willow in... Willow. Oh, and also he played some goon in Star Wars: Ep1 (he was sitting there laughing with some Hutt).

Yep, these have been around for quite a while now. The local EB Games has them in with the clearance stuff for cheap, and they look pretty dusty.
welcome our new red extraterrestrial microbe overlords!

Ah well

couldn't he have just paid off the right people in the Mexican government to get them to look the other way??

No, no. James Woods should play the ever-cool Talon Kardde. I mean, c'mon, the part was written for him!
