That's cool how by sending the results via email you don't actually have to download the results (what?). Oh wait why would you ever do anything this way if you have Google?!
It's not like you'll be able to find your searches among all the "Sponsored email" you'll be getting. But hey these things take money.
Sure the signal isn't gonna be identical, but the sound is absolutely indistinguishable. It might make a bigger difference if you use unshielded 3m speaker cable for preamp signals but that isn't the case.
Anyone using halfway decent equipment can say the same. I even leave my receiver and G4 on at night, there's no hum or static. If the stick is farther up than that, just use SPDIF (which is what the G5 has on-board).
That isn't true at all. They sound identical. I don't know what kind of eqiptment equipment you're using or at what settings but in iTunes with Sound Check, Sound Enhancer and EQs all off they sound perfectly identical coming from my Quicksilver of straight from my Receiver (which is hooked up to Edirol Monitors).
As an additional note it also sounds the same as if I port it through the UA-700 or if I play the MP3's through Peak instead of iTunes.
Hard drive are totally not vaccum sealed. Most even have breathers. They're dust sealed (which is why there's that little snake looking thing leading from the breathing hole to the internals)
Hard drive may have had a vaccum back in your day but today that's utter crap.
You can fit the hole half-a-terabyte (500 GB) in a single build to order G5. Plus they use SATA drives so they'll be fast, add that with the blazingly fast G5 DVD Backup and quiet 9 fan variable independent cooling in an aluminum enclosure running a rock solid UNIX based OS with an easy to use interface and you've got a winner!
Actually it's Apple's G5 too. G5 stands for generation five of Apple's Power PC architecture. The machine they tested was built by Apple. These test test not only the processors but the various busses and IO chips at least two of which were designed totally by Apple (The Memory controller & PCI-X bridge).
IBM plays a huge part but you can't run Nasa's software on a 970 alone. You need the whole platform. (Imagine if the 970 was still tied to a 180Mhz bus)
Unfocused windows in OS X have their titlebars made slightly transluscent.
Actually, you'll note that there is an entirely different Theme on the OS. You can do this with any theme. You can even make the active title bars transparent. Check out "Theme Park" for OS X everything in Apple's theme format has an alpha map.
Just start a new Slashdot post and hold shift+1 for one second. If you get four hundred eighty exclamation marks (be sure to count the exact number) then it's USB 2- errr um USB 2 High Speed if you only get about 12 a second then you've only got USB 1.1 Full Speed.
Happy Testing, Cheers, Ed.
This new product sounds like just what I need...

Actually it's true I've had to use my PDA to identify myself (?) several times when I've hit my head to hard and just can't remember!
My friend is headed overseas for quite a while with his new Sony 5MP camera he had the same problem. So my friends and I bought him and iBook- they're cheap (about $1300) durable (polycarbonate plastics) small and very versitile and have good battery life and a big hard drive (60 gigs). Our original plan was to get him a Sony Vaio but the battery life was...how to say it...severly lacking. The iBook has enough power to play MP3's organise pictures and watch movies. That said- It's no desktop replacement, but it fits this job quite well.
Are you kidding? Jobs would never admit that. It's blatently true but he would never come out and say "GIVE IT UP FOR MEEEEEEEEEEEEE in the middle of (or at the beginning of) a keynote because he knows it's looks dumb. Jobs is the king of false facades. He smiles for his keynotes and lets them out with a happy bang giving the credit to "we." Everyone knows that he knows that he is genius and he is- just very crude genius with foul language (the kind that calls the early Segwey "shit").
Still I doubt you'll ever here him say "I love myself" at any product introduction. (and he would have way better music.)
Actually there are several N64 emulators...Sixty Force is one of the oldes and the best, to quote emulation.net"it has sound support, and the speeds are excellent on a fast G3 or G4. Most importantly, many games seem to work perfectly." Others include True Reality and Mupen 64 both of which have Linux Windows and Mac ports.
...all this news about the upcoming Apple 970- Incidents and accidents; Hints and allegations; but still not new information (and people just keep posting the same old stuff with a different author)
I just hope they come out with a better plug that the cigarette lighter plugs we're used to. I can't think of anytime I've ever seen anyone who actually uses those things to light cigaretters and apart from doing that they're absolutly horrid.
I think a plug that resembles the GC controller port would be much nicer. the plugs slide into place easily, you have to excert a just the right amount of force to remove them and they always connect perfectly.
That would be like a hundred lines of code. From what I understand (from reading slashdot) they only have about 5. That coud be why they're only offering 5 NDAs.
Actually when I got my Clie (which I love) I just found Palm Desktop 4 on Version Tracker and installed it and it works fine, everything Syncs perfectly- I even installed all the palm software of the Windows CD (just drag and drop). The only thing that doesn't work is viewing the memory stick like a disk, but I can still install stuff on the Memory Stick though Palm Desktop.
Since I got my Clie I also got a Lexar media reader that reads memory sticks (and CF an SD and MM...) So now I just pop the Memory Stick into the reader and it pops up like a disk, NO DRIVERS!
Nearly every time I'm in the computer lab I end up installing Quicktime 6.1 on their Windows XP machines. It's installed with no problems on every one I've tried (probably about 16 or 20).
chemical, biological and nuclear
The way they've got it written it acronyms out to CBN threats, which to me reads CowBoy Neal Threats. this is scary stuff man.
Where else would you hide the Spyware.

Maybe that's 'cause you Dell battery doesn't last long enough for you to feel the zap. ('cause it sucks) ;)

Netcraft confims it...Zerg have taken over the BSD encampment, it won't be long now.

If you read the amazon tech specs it says it is 160x160 which seems questionable but that's what they claim.

Steve Balmers hot dance video Everytime I see that I think "wow that guy is a real psycho"
GIVE IT UP FOR MEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! I Love This Compayeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
When he prances (ok maybe that's too delicate a word) across the stage he looks like a (really fat) upset beaver...and who chose the music.
At least if Jobs does it he'll have some better music (and won't make himslf look like a fat upset beaver).

A floppy and a paperclip? That must mean it has to be a Mac floppy drive.
Well it's a start anyway.
Sweet!! Looks like I'm on my way to fame and fortune!!
