I wouldn't say anything about it either, but I did hear this great joke the other day...
A man walks into a talent agent's office, and says, "We're a family act, and we'd like you to represent us."
The agent says, "Sorry, I don't represent family acts. They're a little too old-fashioned."
The man says, "But this is really special."
The agent says, "Okay, well what's the act?"
He replies, "Well, my wife and I come out on stage and she begins to sing the "Star Spangled Banner" while I take her roughly from behind. After a minute of this, my kids come out and begin to do the same, but my daughter's singing the original "To Anacreon in Heaven" lyrics while my son performs anal sex on her."
The agent looks uncomfortable, but the man continues, "Just when my daughter hits the highest note in the song, my son and I switch partners. He turns my wife around and gives her a dirty Sanchez before having her perform oral sex on him. When the song's over and we're both getting close, we all stop and lie down on the stage."
The man smiles fondly as he recalls, "This is the best part: our dog then comes out on the stage, and he's trained to lick each one of us to orgasm in turn. He just goes right down the line, looking as happy as can be! We all get up and take a bow."
He looks at the agent and says, "Well, that's the act. What do you think?"
The agent just sits in silence for a long time. Finally, he manages, "That's a hell of an act. What do you call yourselves?"
So if there are any Iowans out there, warm up your pens. It's worth doing, not to mention very satisfying.
I agree wholeheartedly, starting now... Wait, you said pens!?! Ooohh... never mind, simple mistake.
I've had very good luck with the driver. I've even run the same databases (development, not production) out of my ext3 partition under both windows and linux and had no problems. I'm not saying you couldn't have any problems, I rarely use Windows these days, except to reluctantly support a couple of old Access databases I've built.
However, I'm not all that paranoid about file systems admittedly (I trust in my backups instead) and do things like mount remote servers using ssh and samba as folders that I use probably too casually.
I used to have that issue as well. Not to mention disk space issues on my laptop due to 5 partions (swap,/,/home,/mnt/shared/,windows,).
Now instead of sharing a fat32 partion, I share my/home partion using FS Driver an EXT2 file system driver for windows. (naturally compatible of course with ext3)
Solved many, many annoyances for me. I highly recommend it.
the Synaptic package manager on my system tells me I've currently got access to 20,304 bits of software Hmm, you might want to add some new repositories, that's less than 2.5 Kilobytes of software!
Unless you've installed all the rest? 0_o
When the only source of information is an alleged confession of an unknown person in the custody of a government that uses torture, you should be very skeptical. Countries like Pakistan are famous for trotting out suspects and victories in the "War Against Terror" whenever they are required for public consumption.
I realize that this would likely evaporate any water vapor that would be ejected, but i wonder how big a dust plume one of the US's nuclear bunker busters would make, and what we could learn as a result...

I took the blue pill by mistake, damn my color-blind eyes!
Sounds more like a "Role Playing" game

I find it just a bit odd that Final Fantasy is seeming to be trending more towards the story aspects of the game, while the latest D&D isn't much more than a button masher.
If you're okay with children starving in China, then it's fine to oppose this leveling. But if you actually want the world to be a better place, outsourcing is a good thing. Leveling the labor playing field is a good thing. Why is it that it's better for someone in the U.S. to prosper than someone in India? Think about it.
Leveling the playing field is good in theory. In reality, all species of animals will breed until they have used up all of their available resources or are balanced by growing numbers of predators. Leveling the playing field will lead to starvation in the lower classes in all areas of the world, subsistence living in the middle classes, and the creation of an elite ruling class that has the time and resources required to actually lead.
This is what we currently have in the world as it is, it's just that the richer countries have disproportionate numbers of the wealthy, which is what would happen anyway as the rich would slowly migrate to the areas with more wealthy people and more opportunites for their children.
Until/unless technology provides us with a solution to this problem (e.g. unlimited free energy and food), things on a macroscopic scale will not change very much no matter how much we would like them to.
Thomas Hesse, President of Sony BMG's global digital business division, showed up on NPR to try and sweep the entire thing under the rug.
"Most people, I think, don't even know what the brown note is, so why should they care about it showing up in their music?" he asked? "The note is designed to discourage users from unauthorized copying and ripping our CDs."
When I want to, I can still play my favorite PC games from up to 20 years ago on my current PC (Masters of Magic, Curse of the Azure Bonds, Star Control, Dragon Wars, Nethack, etc). If I wanted to play my favorite non-PC games, I'd have to pick up a working Atari 2600, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, Playstation, etc.
Keeping all your favorite consoles in working order for the next 20 years would be more expensive than upgrading a PC every few years or so. Emulators on a PC can do the same job, but then once again you're using your PC for games...

Sorry, spelling nazi...
Pakistan is spelled United States
Debating... Is that what you crazy kids are calling it these days?
Come to think of it though, I wouldn't mind seeing that either...
I find buzzwords very helpful to utilze during meetings. They help to keep the team alert and aware of exactly what is going on.

I'd say they're doing it pretty well this time though. Of course they're renaming their country the European Union...

Good for them!
Here's to hoping the rewrite of Vista will be looking something like this:
b le/linux-2.6.16.y.git
make config
make
sudo make modules-install
cg-clone git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/sta
I'd settle for one that knows about science...

Mine won't shatter and is made from a material older than both metal and ceramic... Leather.
Are you in China?
Seriously, look at the first link on the first search page for Mohammed where Google says "See results for: Mohammed cartoon
The first result is a wikipedia article. If you can't find that, you need to turn in your internet license.
Congratulations, you have prevented nothing. Not true, they've prevented me from buying both HD-DVD and an HDTV.
Hmmm, could almost as easily be...

A nicer and newer version of Session Saver that works with this release is available from it's homepage or at ExtensionsMirror.
A newer version of Flashblock is available at MozDev.
It's a pain, but they do work much better than the versions available on Mozilla.
You'll find a better article of it right here...here
The advantage that I see is maintainability.
